BBM - Hopefully I'm doing this right.
Per the trailer, this is where they pin her parking.
I wonder where the water level was in relation to that, that night.
We need a bigger map, to overlay.

Thing is, you can't go by the trailer as they're just soundbites. Could be completely different when listened to in it's entirety.Hmmmm... I'm not feeling too good about AWP's video from the small preview that's available to everyone. Here's why...
First off, they are interviewing some guy that said he saw her with someone else at 11AM, hung over or had a really rough something or other. I can't understand the dude. For starters... 11AM when??? The day OF the party because it definitely wasn't her he saw the day after. Unless what he's saying is true, and her car wasn't submerged the night of the party.
So AWP is apparently implicating some guy in a van parked out there pointing out where he was parked, and where she was parked. I wonder what LE will think about that?
Things that make ya go hmmm.....
One would hope they haven't sensationalized the story.I think everyone is reading WAY too much into the trailer AWP released. It seems as though it's going to be detailing what they were doing during the search process, who they talked to in helping to locate her (the guy that said he saw her at 11AM), what they were thinking (if someone killed a 16 year old it's messed up), the eventual discovery of finding her, and then their theory of what happened to her (hence the comment, "murder or accident" in the title).
It doesn't mean the guy that saw her at the other camp area at 11AM actually did, but just that he was one of many who they interviewed in the process of trying to find her, and they included it to highlight the confusion, uncertainty, and theories everyone had about what had happened to her.

Absolutely. When I went back and rewatched the video, it seems as though they were recording their movements from the beginning of the search to get a better idea of where to focus.Thing is, you can't go by the trailer as they're just soundbites. I was just getting ready to say that! Besides finding justice for Kiely, it provides backup to LE for not finding the car in the first place restoring their reputation. People respond to AWP. IIRC, the tip to AWP leading to them to finding Kiely was an anonymous tip.It makes me wonder if AWP is working with LE on this.
Me too. Of course, the bold print across the video saying “accident or murder?” is kind of sensational. One would hope they haven't sensationalized the story.
Oh, they did, IMO.Me too. Of course, the bold print across the video saying “accident or murder?” is kind of sensational.
Yeah.Oh, they did, IMO.
You can see it now. I saw it and my opinion did a 180.Yeah.
I thought the trailer, at least, had a different tone from their previous videos. But then, I think this was their first live case (as opposed to cold cases) wasn't it? Maybe that had a lot to do with it?
I think most people here as well as elsewhere hold them in very high regard. So I am more than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and look forward to seeing the complete video.
