Wow - that's really cool. It's also an outstanding mural (in a California world of many amazing murals):

Thank you for that...this was one of the best projects I've ever been involved in if not the best. Keith Blum is an amazing artist and he did such a great job. The town of Idyllwild was so kind to us...I'd love to do it again.

Snow in the mountains, and everybody's headed to Julian where they'll want a piece of Apple Pie.

I think of Dia when I think of Apples now. I think of Dia often and wonder if we'll ever know what happened to her. She needs to be found. I can't believe there's been not a peep out of those chickens.

It's all MOO, of course. It just says a lot when old trucks are more important than a person. And boot refunds are what's being pursued. Prayers that Dia is found soon and the whatever hits the fan.

We heard about the 2 pm lunch, BUT WHERE WAS IT? Easy place to go back and ask if Dia was really there....If no one remembers her being there, this might add reasons as to why the early Saturday RV trip out of state and not helping with any search....This also parallels the hot water heater repair guy being asked if she was there.

They ate lunch at the ranch. I just assumed that meant they made their own lunch with what they already had at the ranch, but you made me think—who knows, it could be possible they picked up take-out from someplace before eating it at the ranch.

Harper previously told News 8, he had lunch with Abrams at the ranch on the afternoon of Saturday, June 6; and last saw her around 2:30 p.m., when he went to mow the grass and do some ranch work.

Thank You for posting those recent court filings.

So, with Lydia gone and her counsel relieved of duties, there's no one to prosecute Lydia's claims.

I don't know if they're worried about their mother still being missing, but being able to put that Probate mess on hold, until Lydia shows up, must make them happy. Sadly, Lydia is unlikely to show up.

They fought to not let their own mother have more of Clem's estate. Now, are they not going to fight for her ranch properties to stay in the family? I can't see them letting some new guy or anyone else have it. Why would they?

Something must be going on that we aren't going to know about for now. It appears the ranch Airbnb rentals are no longer available. The last guests may have been back in November. Hmm... maybe the adult children were able to legally do something to stop KH from taking over??? What's Diana F. doing if not hosting the listings? This is torture for someone as curious as me!

I just did another check, and now Airbnb host Diana F had 1 listing, Dia’s Garner Valley Mountain Retreat.
Hmm.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) confirmed Monday that skeletal remains were located in the Pinyon Pines area.

“Skeletal remains were located on Feb. 5, but at this time we have not had a positive identification on those remains,” wrote RCSD Correctional Sgt. Deanna Pecoraro of the department’s media information bureau. “The remains were located near the 70100 block of Highway 74 in Mountain Center [Pinyon Pines]. No further information is available at this time.

Five people remain missing
Eight people have gone missing in the area since March of last year and five remain missing.

On Sunday, June 7 at approximately 8:24 a.m., Hemet Station deputies were dispatched to the 58000 block of Bonita Vista in reference to a missing person. Lydia “Dia” Abrams was placed into the system as a missing person.
Abrams is 65 years old, 5’ 5” tall, 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and turquoise jacket, yellow shirt and blue jeans.

According to RMRU, their team of volunteers was dispatched to Abrams’ 160-acre ranch in the Apple Canyon area (between Mountain Center and Garner Valley) June 9. They conducted a search from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with no success of finding Abrams.

RMRU went out again June 10 to search more difficult areas on the property including a creek bed and the hills overlooking her ranch. All assignments were completed by 6 p.m. At that point, detectives took over the investigation and called off the physical ground search.

Thank You for posting this news article. They haven't identified the remains yet. I wonder if it's Dia.

There's another person that went missing in December 2020.

"The most recent woman to go missing from the Hemet/San Jacinto area is 27-year-old Diana Perez Gonzalez who was reported missing Dec. 11. According to family, Gonzalez visited the Idyllwild area regularly. She was last seen by her boyfriend."

I had to see it on a map where the remains were found in relation to Dia's Bonita Ranch. I think this is correct.

I guess it could be any of these people missing. It says, "If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Roy Prifogle, Lydia “Dia” Abrams, Rosario Garcia, Diana Perez Gonzalez or Melissa Lane, contact the RCSD at 800-950-2444."

^^^ Yes, that's Isidro, former employee, in the above video. He worked on the ranch for Dia for 14 yrs. He and Dia took the horses out on rides. Then, KH came along and changed things. Isidro said KH cut his hrs. and treated him like a slave.

That's an older video, and it tells a lot about what went on after Dia went missing. Her children coming to get the truck. DianaF wearing a gun in the office. By the time the news video was made, Isidro was out of work then. He worked for Dia all that time! I wonder if he got a new job in the area. Wish Isidro was able to tell us when he last saw Dia and what he thinks happened to her.

Again, thanks for finding that article. This is what has me waiting on pins and needles. The remains were found Feb. 5th, but have not been identified yet. Wonder if it's Dia?

Reposting this for now.

That is so close. It must be her.
*Why did they call off the ground search so soon?

The remains could be Lydia, yes it's close to her ranch, but there are other people missing from the area. Some we are familiar with from another thread.

However, one recently went missing, a young mother went missing in Dec. 2020. Diana Perez Gonzalez, 27, her pic is in the article.

It says, "If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of
  • Roy Prifogle
  • Lydia “Dia” Abrams
  • Rosario Garcia
  • Diana Perez Gonzalez
  • Melissa Lane
Contact the RCSD at 800-950-2444."

MOO, I was somewhat satisfied with the search of Dia's property because it seemed RMRU did a thorough search when they went out again June 10 to search more difficult areas on the property.

If the remains belong to Dia, then I will have more questions concerning how she got there. I still also question why KH had to leave to got on his business drive when his fiancé just went missing. MOO, in my book, it seemed like weird behavior.

Monday, February 15th:
*Motion Hearing (re Boot Junky) (@ 8am PT) – in NM/CA - Lydia "Dia" Abrams (65) (missing on June 6, 2020 from her 117-acre Bonita Vista Ranch in a remote area east of Mountain Center). *Keith Harper representing himself in legal action.
Keith Harper, 71, (Abrams' fiancé) filed the civil complaint in San Juan County, New Mexico on Dec. 9, 2019. It seeks $3,020 in damages–including court costs & interest–stemming from a $2,000 purchase of boots, made by Lydia before she went missing. Harper’s lawsuit seeks a refund from Boot Junky of Scottsdale, Arizona. Abrams was a frequent customer of boot outlet. The owner of Boot Junky, Greg Swan, argues in his response that the New Mexico court has no jurisdiction over the transaction.
1/11/21 Update: San Juan County Magistrate Judge Stacey Biel set a motion hearing to be held on Feb. 15, 2021, at 8 a.m., according to court records. Keith Harper is representing himself in the legal action. Harper has not been named a suspect by law enforcement & previously, Harper has denied any involvement in Abrams’ disappearance.

My friend thought she heard a quick blurb that there was to be a report tonight or this week about Dia missing, but she couldn't tell me which tv channel or anything. So? People are still thinking about Lydia "Dia" Abrams and wondering what happened to her.
...Rosario Garcia went missing from her home in Hemet and her car was found in the Pinyon Pines area but she was never located. Pinyon Pines is where they found the skeleton remains. So, it’s likely Garcia.

"So, it’s likely Garcia." Thanks, it seems likely, as you say, that's it's Rosario. Looking at the pic of the area, it's no wonder it's hard to find people.

If you do google maps, Rosario Garcia's car location is not to far from the discovery location...

Yes, @tvscum posted a news article that makes me think it might be Rosario. I mapped it for you below. Although, I'm in San Diego, I don't know the Idyllwild area, so I don't know. Perhaps Rosario got disorientated, and then especially so after her car got stuck. Poor woman, that's no place to get lost out there.
