You must be hungry. ; )

To keep this on topic or it will get deleted, what is your best speculation on where May will be found? Here's my line of thinking....

LM portrays himself as very religious. If this is the case, unless criminally insane (which frankly, may be), he would be feeling intense guilt and remorse. (Even if he thinks May was a wanton women). As such, I think he would take her somewhere that she/they loved. Some place that had meaning to her, and to them as a couple. Her sister would likely know where those general locations are.

It's just a matter of time...

Amateur opinion and speculation
i dont think he has any guilt or remorse. My opinion, he still feels betrayed. he isnt a POI, but if one did commit such a crime, they would probably take the victim somewhere they're familiar with or scouted previously.. because of the presumed short amount of time one had to get rid of a body. I'm however starting to believe there was a 2nd person involved.

Listening his interview again, although sounding like he cant get his story straight and having a bad time influencing the listener, he does sound confident that he doesnt know where his wife is. I guess i would be too, if I hired somebody to do the dirty work while i turn a blind eye.

all MOO. all amateur speculation!

Chula Vista PD impressive "Live 911" dispatch system in effect since July 2020

Fox 5 San Diego

The Chula Vista Police Department is launching a new system that streams 911 calls live to police units out in the field.

It was also mentioned that the same night, there were three 911 calls regarding the 6 loud shots heard, but I didn’t hear anything about a response from police.

Not my speculation, seen a comment about this that makes complete sense.
What if Aunt and Uncle picked up the little boy at 2.30 that night? So LM would have enough time to go wherever and do whatever.
In 2 days time a small child could easily forget/mix up days, so if police/relatives asked he could say whatever LM told him. I would think though that on Friday the little boy would definitely have told his siblings where he was so they would remember..

Also, just thinking, there must be phone call evidence of LM calling uncle in the middle of night to come to the house MOO.
I hope LE have all his call records plus the uncle's and aunt's, and their car. I hope they were dumb enough to have gps in car to prove they were there. JMO
They must have made a mistake, come on CVPD!

Paraphrasing something Greg Cooper said about acknowledging the family, with respect to the investigation, and what the police are willing to share with them:

While LE wants to support, encourage, and provide hope, with confidence for the family (that things are being done behind the scenes), providing it to them exposes or discloses that info to the public, and therefore it also becomes accessible to persons of interests/suspects they've targeted. This puts LE at a disadvantage, and gives an advantage to those watching. It's frustrating and painful, and emotional trauma being experienced is unbearable, but LE is doing everything they can do. Whatever they are gathering, LE knows it has to satisfy the requirements for search warrants, affidavits for search warrants, affidavits for arrest warrants, and, ultimately, the DA is looking at that info and deciding if there is sufficient evidence to present to a judge/jury for trial. LE have to maintain an expectation and level of confidence, with respect to that evidence, that will be acceptable in a court of law. It's very difficult to play both sides of the tightrope: to help and support the family while maintaining the integrity of the investigation.

For a successful conviction, you usually need 2 forms of successful evidence: (Prosecution needs at least 2 forms to present to a jury that corroborate each other.)

1. Physical (forensics)
2. Circumstantial
3. Witness statements
4. Confession

and

(From a behavioural standpoint) 5. Behavioural evidence

LE are compiling this evidence to support and prove their theory.

CVPD Captain Eric Thunberg emailed News 8 the following statement:
We have no comment and will not comment on any evidence or potential evidence in this case. Such comments complicate and potentially hinder the investigation."

It’s not enough to have evidence, it has to hold up in court to get a conviction.

POLICE MEDIA ADVISORY
Detectives are reviewing multiple items of evidence and going over thousands of pages of data in the hopes of finding May.
As is common in case like this, the Department began working closely with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office and has been in frequent and consistent consultation with their office since January and continue to do so on a regular basis.
Based on some of the evidence recovered during the investigation, the Chula Vista Police Department has also requested assistance from the FBI to help with the analysis.

If it’s true that she wanted to be with someone else, or was already seeing someone, can anyone seriously blame her? That marriage had to be a freaking nightmare, her husband is just insufferable and abusive, I still can’t believe her family managed to not expose him on day one.

They were so respectful and so civil. I understand that they were worried about the children but still. They are Saints.

I just don’t understand how “someone” would even think her family wouldn’t be asking questions and looking for her. They were extremely close. It’s pretty obvious that her sister knew A LOT about the marriage and Maya’s moves.

There is absolutely no way that this isn’t an homicide investigation. And my guess is that it has been for a LONG time.

I have a feeling that the family is discussing evidence and other important details so openly because they are allowed to do so, if you know what I mean...

Either way, this case is way, way, way worse than I ever imagined.

Yeah, perhaps the cops are in on it, encouraging the public accusations in order to put the pressure on without filing charges or naming POI’s to drive suspects to make more mistakes. Otherwise, like so many other cases, they would ask them to stop to protect the integrity of the investigation.
It seems organized and there’s more interviews scheduled.
As much as I wish this would have a good ending, I also think it’s a murder investigation. I hope they find the body because that simplifies getting a conviction and helps the family deal with grief, but plenty of murderers have been convicted with no body too. I think they have tons of evidence. JMO

Yeah, I just can't see a) LE not telling the family to stop talking about the evidence and those other details that obviously point to one suspect, and now two more people that could very well be involved; and/or b) the family talking so openly about all of that if they were told to not disclose anything.

We will see though... a gag order can always be issued, I feel like it's way too late now... but it would show us where LE stands right now. I highly doubt that will happen because they seem to be in some sort of agreement.

Hopefully they didn’t lose patience and defy LE’s request. Surely they know the police don’t need a P.I. to do their job for them, they even seemed to assume LE neglected interviewing the neighbors, which is highly doubtful. JMO
California missing mother's family no longer has P.I. because police don't want case ‘jeopardized’ | Fox News

"The police haven’t really told us anything. They haven’t really given us any details on anything that they found from the search warrant. Everything’s still under investigation and, unfortunately, they don’t want to leak anything out," Drouaillet said. "They don’t want to sabotage or risk anything."
Drouaillet said his family had hired a private investigator to get answers, but police felt that he would "jeopardize the investigation."
"He wanted to interview some of the neighbors but (the) police asked him not to. Which is really unfortunate. It would’ve helped a lot," Drouaillet said of the P.I.

The rally began at noon at Chula Vista Community Park, according to the "Find May/Maya Millete" Facebook group. A post by the group indicated that speakers and special guests were on hand to raise awareness for Millete and others who have gone missing.

A lawyer working with the family of Millete, Billy Little Jr., reacted Friday to the release of the surveillance audio saying "that’s exactly what a gunshot sounds like."

Little will appear Monday on "Dr. Phil" -- which airs at 3 p.m. on CBS8 -- along with Maya’s sister and brother-in-law, Maricris and Richard Drouailet. The attorney said national exposure can sometimes kick-start a stalled investigation.

ETA:
Her family says they were planning to go to Big Bear to celebrate Millete’s daughter’s birthday when Millete stopped responding to text messages. “She’s not the type of person that wouldn’t respond, so that got my brother worried,” says Maricris, Millete’s sister, on Monday's episode of Dr. Phil. Millete’s and Maricris’ brother went to the home Millete shares with her husband of 21 years, Larry. Hear what Maricris says happened when her brother was at the house in the video above. And, hear what Maricris and her husband, Richard, say about Larry’s behavior and their interactions with him before and after her disappearance. On Monday’s episode, “Vanished: Where is Maya?” hear part of a phone interview Larry did with a local TV station. Plus, a family friend and attorney discusses his visit to Millete’s home after she was reported missing.

CVPD has a user friendly function of their website to view a press log. I searched January 7, and IMO didn’t see anything close enough to her home in that time frame (10:00pm). Not sure if it shows everything, or if they can remove entries to protect an active investigation, but thought it was worth noting considering the missing persons report and follow up are listed. Per Little, some have submitted FOIA requests for the records but are unsure if they’ll be provided as it is an active investigation.

I wish the family understood the importance of finding a body before filing charges. I truly believe LE has everything they need for charges, except a body. I wish they would back off publicly. They could endanger the kids. A cornered animal is unpredictable.

IMO the family understand it 100% and that's why they have been searching for her everywhere since her disappearance.. there have not been any police searches (at least released to public) so I completely understand their point of view. JMO
