I live in CV and have been on that road, it' really weird how it goes gravel for a while then back to pavement(can't think of another one in the city like that). It's long been a sort of dump stuff, work on your car (why I don't know, dump oil probably), teenagers hanging out sort of stretch....that being said, it's not desolate by any stretch of the imagination. Plus on either side is fenced off (wire) and would not be easy to get over/through with a load. Just about every time I've been on it ran into other cars, admittedly in the middle of the day, later at night who knows but then again, teenagers. Plus decomp smell is way too close to the houses surrounding it......given the time window involved I have to suspect a run to the east desert areas, very close (1.5 to 2 hrs) and once you get there, wide open....unfortunately. That's my own bias, maybe I'm overthinking it, ton of canyons etc in this area.

I am still interested in any areas to the south east of the house merely because that direction appears to be a bit more rural. My speculation that anyone transporting a body would probably want to get to a back road as soon as possible. And if you consider all of the locations Larry mentioned in his statement, none of them appear to be in the south east (probably because they live so close to the border but still ingesting) However, all I have is Google maps so I may be misinformed.

The longer we go without hearing more about this, the more I think it was just a mistake or bad reporting. This is the only source that I've found that states the body as male. Have you heard anything more about this @swedeheart

I am following the disappearance of Maya..and watched this video released by CBS8. I presume we are allowed to discuss it.

A few of my observations

The audio is of 4 gunshots. So i found that interesting. There were 8 gunshots in the audio without the video.

Is this video possibly showing 2 cameras (different houses) that recorded the audio?
Also curious as to others thoughts as to what they observe at 2.31 to 2.33. The movement.. is that a tv on when you hear the gun shots?
Adjust the settings to 1080p for a sharper view.
Look at 2.36 2.37 - what do you see?
When i watched the video i had no idea there would be video and audio of the gunshots. I initially watched it on my mobile phone. I was shocked to see the neighbour's recording with the audio. Also surprised to see it released. What i think i see at 2.31 to 2.33 is movement - a person?


Actually any observations i would be curious to hear.
-The room where the camera zooms to..what do you observe?
-Lighting
-Vehicles


Does anyone know the layout of that house? the floor plan?

well well well... although i will say my own husband was a little knucklehead as a teen and he has been a productive citizen for over 30 years now. but this is still interesting.

Juvenile records are sealed but based on what Billy Little has found from investigating, he is saying yes he was.

I know several people with worse juvenile offenses than that on their records who served their time and have since been normal productive members of society, which makes me reluctant to ascribe much importance to that part of his record.

Which is not to say I think he's innocent. Usually I'm on the fence at this point in an investigation, but in this one, I'm not seeing a lot of alternate explanations.

I agree-- it is interesting.

Thinking about the allegations that LM very openly and/or publicly discussed his desire to "hire" a hitman, follows the personality of somebody wanting to remind others that he's still a bad dude-- but smart enough (in his opinion) not to get his hands dirty.

No adult record might just mean not caught to report.

One of the positives of Southern Calif is that there are so many police informants and they love to talk.

IMO, LM is currently making more enemies than friends.

And all will be unveiled in due time. MOO

You all know what I thought from the beginning. I'm just quietly waiting now... for Maya to be found and for an arrest. Praying it happens soon. Make that plural arrests because I'm almost sure he had help. (MOO, if his family knew and are allowed to care for those motherless children now, it's a horrible situation that should not be allowed.)

I think this was filmed by CBS8 after the events on January 7th and the audio of the gunshots was played over top. The Lexus isn't in the driveway. I could be wrong but I don't think the actual surveillance video has been released yet.

I find it interesting that a family member allegedly took a photo of Larry on the 10th though.
