Bumping my prayer to the new thread. Heads up to @Niner about new trial date.

I just heard on the local news that July 7, 2025 is the new trial date for Larry Millete. (It'll be over four years since Maya went missing then.) MOO, LM must be real confident Maya won't be found during all these delays. That evidence could hurt him even more at trial. Well, I pray they find Maya before then. Divine Intervention please to bring her home to her Children and her Family.​

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Larry Millete, the man accused of killing his wife in 2021, appeared in a South Bay courtroom Monday, more than four years since she was last seen or heard from.

Millete was arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife, Maya “May” Millete, and has remained in jail since October of 2021.

At the readiness conference on Monday, his lawyers asked to move his trial — scheduled to take place next January — to a different courtroom, although it is expected to still be held within San Diego County. However, no reason was given for the defense team’s request for a change of venue.

@Niner and @Seattle1, I caught a fast blurb that the Judge did make a ruling today. As usual, I was busy with something else with the local news on the tv, and only caught some of it. They haven't posted the actual news article on their site yet. Not sure but I think Judge said no on change of venue.​
