Well here we go, on pins and needles waiting for confirmation that they might know where Melodee is.

Saw they brought in forensics and a dog to the home today.

"Ashlee was escorted away from the home to an undisclosed location “that would not interfere with their ability to conduct a thorough search,” authorities said, adding that it’s expected investigators will need access to the home “for an extended time.”"

So was she taken into custody? Or they put her up in a hotel? The wording of this is weird IMO.

Watching that video 2 things stand out.

1.LE seem to have a very bright light in the garage, far brighter than a usual overhead or shoplight. For whatever reason, they were in need of more illumination in there.

2. The crime scene van is there.

Neither of those are a good sign, and together they point to something concerning in the garage.

That's Melodee in the car rental picture. IMO
If so (not doubting you as I thought it might be her as well, hoping b/c then she may be alive somewhere ?); that narrows down when Melodee was still alive ?
If we knew where they'd stopped for gas/food on that long road trip, they could pull security footage and see if Ashlee was alone ?
Imo.

This video implies that someone saw Melodee in Nebraska. Was that lead creditable? I'd like to know who, where, and when Melodee was seen. Also, were there sightings of Melodee in Kansas? Where was Ashlee first sighted without Melodee?

Can you give a time stamp to the spot you've mentioned implying she was seen in Nebraska?

At the 8 minute mark she says it was "reported" she was seen in Nebraska.

How difficult would it be to get Melodee out of the country before this warrant search?

If Melodee is no longer in the United States, does LE have authority to arrange for her return? Is LE only looking to confirm that she is alive? Or is Melodee’s return necessary?

Is there anything Ashlee can be formally charged with that would require Melodee’s presence (if she is confirmed to be alive and safe)?

Can we actually confirm that Ashlee has any kind of formal mental health diagnosis? Can we expect LE to force Ashlee to take a mental health evaluation?

I’m really unsure about the line between mental health issues, a mother that fears losing custody of Melodee again, and infighting between family members over an as yet to be revealed issue.

I fear Melodee could become another Timmothy Pitzen. The crime scene van is concerning. Would a sample of Melodee’s DNA help the investigation at all?

I hope for her safe unharmed return.

You sure? It looks like her mother to me. I would be convinced if we could see Melodie AND her mother in photos at the car rental.

I don’t doubt it’s Melodee in the photo, LE has seen the whole video. The real mystery is why we aren’t being shown a photo of Ashlee? For that matter, why not show us part of the video?

There is a lack of current photos of Melodee, wouldn’t that increase the chances of public awareness/recognition? I find it hard to believe they would only have one camera pointed at the entrance? Be interesting to know what Ashlee said to the rental agent while booking the car.

But maybe there’s another legal reason - related to being named a suspect? What’s she suspected of? When they searched the home this week, she wasn’t taken into custody.

This whole case is very unique.

I didn't word that right! That's who they are calling Melodee in the car rental. It's her mom, not her! IMO
