Video of hearing.
Or on a good oneI doubt she slept much, but I think that's typical if you are Bipolar and in a manic phase?

Do we know her attorney's name?
JMO. her public defender seems like he hasn't got his teeth yet. Basically handed the judge the ankle monitor aspect. IMOVandenberg Village woman Ashlee Buzzard, left, appears in court Wednesday with her attorney, Public Defender Adrian Galvan

Jumping off your post because the thumbnail has the released still of Melodee--
Just watched a video he made talking about ICE issues as it relates to his clients. Said he’s been in the Public Defenders office for fourteen years, so he’s not a newbie.JMO. her public defender seems like he hasn't got his teeth yet. Basically handed the judge the ankle monitor aspect. IMO
I do wonder what Melodee's life with her mother was like. Does she have real memories of life when her father was alive? Sounds like things were growing progressively more isolated with her mom. Did Melodee have any frame of reference for normal/not normal? Imagine trying to process any of it at such a young age...
Thank you for setting me straight on that.BBM
Melodee was 6-months old when her father died -- I think it's safe to say that she doesn't have memories of life when he was alive.
A neighbor said Ashlee wouldn’t even let her play with her son at the park when Melodee was so excited to. She tomdJumping off your post because the thumbnail has the released still of Melodee--
Perhaps LE's video is much clearer, and granted my cellphone screen is very small, I feel like maybe that's Melodee's real hair under the hood. I see volume alongside her face, potentially curls.
Did I miss a photo that shows an obvious wig?
Either way, it seems pretty obvious Ashlee didn't want Melodee's hair to show. I can imagine that Melodee's hair drew constant compliments -- and Ashlee had good (bad) reason to not want Melodee to be memorable...
Surprised she didn't chop it off.

Please let her be safe somewhere.

Looks like she changed clothes too before walking out into the public! Or were those jail clothes she was wearing in the court photo? They didn't look like it to me, but why would she have been in her own clothes in court that day... didn't she go straight from jail to court, all while in custody (and I would assume inmate clothes)? But the court pic looks like street clothes to me, but different from the clothes she walked out onto the street in!She put on a wig as she left the courthouse.
She left wearing the same clothes she was arrested in, but during the hearing she was wearing a gray sweater and no wig.Looks like she changed clothes too before walking out into the public! Confusing. I guess they wouldn't allow her to wear the wig in court. So her real hair is short, curly, reddish-blonde?
I am still spotty on when/if Melodee attended school in person, but I think the most widely distributed photo is a school photo. I sure wish we could know observations from the teachers and other adults who worked with Melodee. They'd certainly know if she had autistic traits.A neighbor said Ashlee wouldn’t even let her play with her son at the park when Melodee was so excited to. She tomd
The neighbor that Melodee didn’t get along with other kids. She was autistic. I think we’ve seen the autistic label with many other abusive parents. So I think she was a controlling mother who isolated her daughter for more control and her daughter deserved better.
I was pretty shocked when I heard that. Did she really believe Melodee was autistic? IMO, that’s very interesting. Paternal family said she loved being around and playing with her cousins. The video of her carving the pumpkin, she joyfully played in the goopy innards. The photos we’ve seen, she’s a little shining light, playing to the camera.A neighbor said Ashlee wouldn’t even let her play with her son at the park when Melodee was so excited to. She tomd

That's what I thought! So I wonder why she wasn't wearing a jail uniform in court, and where'd she get the grey sweater?? You don't usually get to bring a change of clothes with you into jail...She left wearing the same clothes she was arrested in, but during the hearing she was wearing a gray sweater and no wig.
Anyone know if Lori was in court today? She put on a wig as she left the courthouse.
Apparently someone gave it to her to look more solid during the court hearing. Maybe someone from law enforcement. It seems to me that everyone is trying to be gentle with her so that she starts talking. It looks like office clothes are cardigan and pants. That's what I thought!
