Ann Bernice Duncan checks a few boxes that are noted for this JD. However, the difference in height approximation may rule her out. Her reported height estimate was 5’2”. JD height estimated at 5’3”-5’8” on The Doe Network.

She colored her hair often between dark, blonde and also a reddish color. Her hair is fine and in a couple of her pictures it appears to have a kinky texture.

Ann was also double jointed which could account for the long fingers and feet.

She was 31 at the time of her reported missing date. She had missed an appointment on 10/3/69 in San Francisco, CA. Her children were in foster care and she would call them occasionally.

Dental charting and DNA are available for Ann.

Well, writing a year later... In my opinion, her murder was committed by a close person/people (parents or boyfriend). If she was on the younger side of the age range (15-16, maybe even younger based on the development of her third molar in my humble opinion), then I think she was getting ready for school or a part-time job (judging by her outfit, which is pretty neat and stylish), they had an argument, she didn't listen to them, and they killed her. Or if she was around 20-25, then she could have been killed by a boyfriend, she could have not listened to her, and as a result, the psycho killed her and dumped her in a random place. I can't figure out where she was found. Judging by her watch, from 1957, I think we can expand the time of death range. I think her outfit would be appropriate for a job or college/school, I think her shoes were tennis shoes or ballet flats. And a cardigan or blazer on top. It's so sad that she was probably cremated and the DNA is unavailable, so matches will have to be checked manually. But I'll try to find some matches.
How about the following suggestions?
2880DFCA - Linn Bernadette Luray
4627DFCA - Wanda Gail Lou
1734DFCA - Dixie Lee Arensen

Her hair is described as being very unusual, "colored and curly." I think it's probably dye.
I wonder if that's what her hair looked like?

this seems to be the ravine Jane Doe was found on. i went further in-depth in my explanation of why this seems to be the likely location here, but in essence her remains being found down an embankment on the north side of the Angeles Crest Highway doesn't really make sense when you actually look at it. instead she was more likely found on the north side of the Gabrieleno Trail, just south of the highway

You rock!!! I was also looking for the place where she was found, but I couldn't find anything. Seriously, I'm so glad now that someone remembered her case. I think you found a very likely place of her burial!!
