One would think the victims families would have been part of the process. They didn't give a rats a$$ before when they thought they would reep financially.

AMERICA HAS SPOKEN....OJ IS A MURDERER

imo

Fred Goldman spoke out last week:

Relatives of the victims have lashed out at the now scuttled publication and broadcast plans.

"He destroyed my son and took from my family Ron's future and life. And for that I'll hate him always and find him despicable," Fred Goldman told ABC last week.

Customers of nine Fox affiliates will not be able to watch the O.J. Simpson special “If I Did It.” Officials with Lin Broadcasting and Pappas Broadcasting, which owns the stations in seven states, say they are refusing to air the show because they don’t want to assist in Simpson’s profits. “If I Did It” is a two-part special in which Simpson hypothetically discusses how he could have been involved in the 1994 slayings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. It is scheduled to air Nov. 27 and 29. A book Simpson wrote detailing how he would have committed the murders is scheduled for release on Nov. 30. Simpson was acquitted of the murders in 1995 but found liable in a wrongful death suit filed by Goldman’s family. (SOURCE)

I heard a TH yesterday state there was only one chapter in the book anyway that had to do with the actual murder. Ther rest was just himi talling about his life, selling soap LOL etc.

So the first proof printouts, or whatever you call them have already been read by some in the buisness. We'll probably hear from them in the future.

I had visions of OJ throwing stufrf in his apt and screaming to high heaven. Good thing his kids are away at school. He's probably on a JAG right now, the crooked murdering Oaf!

Thanks to all, people and media organizations throught the states, who took the time to make their opinions known!

O.J. Simpson is a Narcissistic who was looking for his ego "stroking" for (drumroll....) money. Any person who can actually "write" a book about his ex wife's murder (and Ron Goldman) called, "If I Did It", is a certifieable a**h*le who carries no empathy/compassion for either victims let alone their families. My gawd, what about his children???? This says ***MUCH*** to me about this .....um...."man". No heart or soul.

May he rot in Hell. He deserves nothing less.

I pray both children find solace and support in their lives. They need it, deserve it, and are worthy than more than this NPD can *ever* give them.

Next on my to do list.........get the John Ramsey tv special cancelled

That would be nice.

It's great that they dropped OJ. The man makes me sick.

I also hope the media forgets the story now, so he doesn't get to watch all the cable news shows tonight and smile as he admires himself pictured on TV - all the while proceeding with his wild JAG :D :D :D

His kids never would have got any of that book money anyway, and I don't think they would have wanted it as it is their mother's blood money. Bet he'd been planning this for years!

I saw your post about this on the other thread Buzz, about boycotting
Fox productions if they went thru with airing this show. Good for you, and it wasn't too long after that I heard they had just decided to can it.

They could have also been advised by their lawyers of civil right issues on the rights of the victims being impinged by the airing of that show to all Americans, and thought it best not to invite major lawsuits!

the court of public opinion has spoken!!!

thank you to the Fox network for doing the right thing.

WOW, IzzyB, for sure! I was so elated when I heard this, this evening!

Court of Public Opinion=GUILTY! :woohoo:

Civil Trial=GUILTY! :woohoo:

Crimninal Trial= not guiltydoes not mean Innocent!

When I heard Judith Regan's reason for publishing the book, I won't even type his name, I was so disappointed in her. Judith Regan use to have her own show on the Fox News Channel, late on Sunday night. She would interview different authors, mostly I believe were of books she had published. I found her to be quite interesting, and due to lack of anything else on Sunday nights, to watch, I did find her show enjoyable.

I believe she started her own company and was very successful. I admire women who are able to rise in any profession and be successful.

I fear now, she has really stumbled, but I hope she is able to redeem herself, as everyone makes mistakes now and then.

I hope apologizes the the families of Nicole and Ron.

And YES, as Scandi posted, I too heard the man talking about (you know who) and tax evaision. I hope they get the :loser: someday and put him :behindbar:

Hi Peter. I just bought that book at the local good will for 25 cents. What a deal. I have not read it yet though. Also Bundy did that interview with Dobson, I think.

He did it because he is a narcissistic sociopath. JMO He can write books and go on in his life because he has no Conscience.

I was shocked to read that according to E!Online News, the killer's children gave their "blessing" to this piece of trash:

Dubbing any profits "blood money" and claiming he's "pissed" that Simpson kept him out of the loop, Galanter nevertheless admits that the would-have-been memoir was done with the blessing of Simpson's four children—two of whom he had with Nicole Brown—and that they, along with Regan, were the only ones who knew about the controversial deal prior to last week. All four children, however, have refused to speak about the book in public—a pact they're unlikely to break anytime soon.

I don't know how accurate this account is, especially as the killer's attorney, Galanter, admits that he was "out of the loop." If it is true, I honestly don't understand what they all could be thinking (besides the obvious---$$$$).

MedEditor, I either read that or heard it before, and I posted such on the other thread here for that murderer. It might be in an article there, somewhere. I thought the same as you did, the $$$, and I also wondered about his influence upon the children. Maybe they were pre-ordering thier new wheels or somthing!

Here is the post, it was on a news show: Post 84 on the first thread for that creepo.

Hi Nan, after hearing the OJ garbage tonight on TV, I had to check to see what was going on here at Wbs. with OJ!

They were talking about the money, probably going to his children or along those lines. LOL Then I wasn't TOO surpirsed to hear his children are supporting the idea of the book!

Mark Furman had it right! He said, "OJ couldn't have written that book, unless he did with a crayon!"--then something about being too dumb!

Loved it!

Wonderful news that the interview and the book has been canceled. Thank you Rupert Murdock! And, this is sweeps month, which makes this cancellation even more meaningful!
Now, if we could just cancel O.J.!
Those of you who contacted FOX network and expressed your disgust of the inteview, you did it. Your attention brought about this change.
Now, I'm going to e-mail FOX with a big thanks. Care to join me?
Great suggestion to e-mail Fox with a thank you - it's great to see that the public opinion DOES matter.
