I still see it too. Another thing I found peculiar? I ran a background check on Castro, and it came up clean. I thought his picture was a mugshot, but it could be his driver's license photo.

Hi, probably no one is still on this string that could help me here, but I'm looking through these pages to see if there is a DOB for Fernando Castro (19) who abducted and maybe killed Pearl Pinson? I saw you did a background check, but when ever I try to find anything on him, it's something you have to pay for. There is a FB site called "A Matter of Perception" (MOP) and they find missing people and can find a killer's house through using a "Planetary Star Chart." (PSC) I guess they did a PSC for Pearl Pinson right after she was abducted. They didn't get her DOB until September though. The lady that runs this site does this for free. She said if she had his DOB she could pinpoint hot spots to search for Pearl if she is dead. I'm hoping she is alive. I guess she reached out to the family and LE at some time..and they didn't seem interested in what her site can offer. But, she wanted the DOB just in case..and said when she is found..she can see if the chart is correct.

Does anyone know Fernando Castro's DOB from a background check? I haven't found it and she looked months ago..nothing. I had never even heard of this case until she told me about it Friday night..and I live only 20 miles or less from Vallejo!

Anyway, I thought the family could ask the SCSD for the DOB of this dead suspect..but she doesn't want me to bother them to get the info from ME office or something. IDK.I've spent too much time looking and was looking on this link..and saw this post so thought I would ask. Thanks much for any info you can give....

This evening I happened to drive by the overpass from where Pearl was abducted. There is a huge banner hanging over the 780 freeway overpass in Vallejo advertising Pearl's disappearance.

There's still a banner albeit smaller, no picture, just her name and a phone number to contact.

ok...thanks. I checked a map for vallejo california and saw San Pablo Bay and was thinking along the lines of the alleged abductors getting the girls to the Bay and then out to sea. Its kind of a far fetched idea so its probably not what they were targeting them for. Was just tossing out some ideas for a motive. Lets hope LE already has more information by now.

Someone had a similar idea when Laci Peterson was murdered, that Scott Peterson had stopped on the Richmond-San Rafael bridge and put her body into the water there because Brooks Island is so close to the bridge, but the thing is that going Westbound, the shoulder on the upper deck is on the right side of the road (opposite side from the island) and there is no other place to stop.
If you were going to use a boat, neither of those places- Jenner, nor San Pablo Bay is the place to get them onto a boat. You'd want to use a major port like San Francisco or Oakland. I'm sure there probably is some sex trafficking done that way unfortunately.

Nevermind my question. I just got the DOB of FC from the lead Detective on the case. They are going to rework the chart with the info but might be a few days or more.

Something similar happened with the Mabel Lopez case (http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...abel-Juaraz-Lopez-8-El-Reno-17-Feb-2016/page3), although it's believed Mabel has been taken to Mexico, unlike Pearl who is more likely deceased.

I believe that the alert has been cancelled because law enforcement feels that public dissemination of information about Pearl is no longer likely to produce any (positive) results in this case. I'm sure LE is still working Pearl's case and following up on any and all leads despite the change in case status.

Idon't know KayEIUJay,I think that it's a chance that Castro passed Pearl off to someone else. I think that if she were bleeding, they would've found her blood in the car, and we haven't heard of any forensic info about Castro's car.
