No, I believe the one RN took to the airport on Tuesday is her sister. RN's family did confirm the sister was there and was injured cleaning up a chandelier.

..oh wow--how did miss hearing that??..thanks!

As Sheriff Bill Gore stated, under California law autopsy reports are a matter of public record.

Full release of information beyond scientific findings is not mandatory. Throughout the 90 minuted press conference, Gore stated there were things of a personal nature he would not divulge.

This may well have been at the request of either or both family's.

It seems to me that JS should have a say in what should not be released regarding his son, but not about RZ. That should be left up to her family since JS and RZ were not married.

..according to the investigative/autopsy report R took her to the airport the next day ( the refer to her as R's sister-------but it was GS that was there.)

Ok last night someone posted some of her clothes were in one of the bedrooms of the guestroom and make-up remover pads, etc also.

I am very confused about that.

I didn't think they said they were her items, just that they were womens items?

Correct. No one has stated who the clothing belonged to.

Bye the way, the autpsy report can be found on thread 9, post 969. Thank you Carioca.:seeya:

Not sure if this is part of delay causing them to leave her unattended, but:

Coronado police have requested assistance from a sheriff's homicide team, since the small peninsula city does not have a full-time one of its own, sheriff's spokeswoman Melissa Aquino said Wednesday.
Investigators used a search warrant Wednesday afternoon to enter the property to finish their probe. They said the woman died "violently."

Posted 13 July and updated 15 July.

I'd like to comment on phone records. Maybe RZ didn't recognize the number who called her at 12.50. Prepaid phones are cheap, easy and throwaway.

This part is interesting.

Moreover, your statements and actions are highly insensitive on a human level. Mr. Shacknai and his family have suffered two tragic losses under the harsh and unkind glare of a national media frenzy you have now helped sustain. It is ironic that Mr. Shacknai went through the entire law enforcement investigation, at all times cooperating completely with several police authorities, and never once considered retaining an attorney. It is only now, after authorities have announced the conclusions of their comprehensive investigations, that Mr. Shacknai finds it necessary to consult with me because of the false and irresponsible public statements you are making, harming his personal and business reputations. Importantly, throughout the investigation, Mr. Shacknai was not advancing any particular outcome regarding Rebecca Zahau's cause of death, because he had absolutely no knowledge of what happened the night she died.

Here is some info on Dan K. Webb-Jonah's attorney.

“He is a virtuoso of the courtroom…. Purely and simply, Dan is number one. He was born to be a litigator.”

Perhaps most revealing of Dan Webb’s character and professionalism is his desire to give back to the poor and underrepresented. He assumed the chairmanship of the Chicago Bar Foundation’s 2008 Campaign for Justice. The Chicago Bar Foundation described in 2006 the dilemma that less than 300 legal aid attorneys in the Chicago area struggled to serve more than one million low-income residents and nearly half of those attorneys would be forced to leave their jobs in the near future due to unbearable educational debt and chronic low pay. That study concluded that more than half of the disadvantaged Chicagoans could be turned away to solve complex legal problems on their own.

In just six months, Webb mobilized nearly 40 law firms and corporate legal departments to help address this looming crisis. He persuaded several other law firms to participate in the effort and inspired more than 100 volunteers to conduct a city-wide pledge campaign. This generated over $1 million to significantly increase compensation of Chicago’s legal aid attorneys and keep them on the job. He also significantly expanded Winston & Strawn’s pro bono program. Under his leadership, Winston attorneys now devote nearly 40,000 hours to pro bono cases and transactions each year.

As U.S. Attorney for Chicago between 1981 and 1984, Webb will always be remembered for spearheading the Operation Greylord investigations into judicial corruption in Cook County, Illinois. Ultimately, that investigation put 76 judges, lawyers, court personnel, and police officers in prison. He also won convictions during that time against 10 Chicago police officers charged with extorting money from heroin dealers in exchange for protecting narcotics shipments. Webb is still well known for his conviction of retired Admiral John Poindexter as a special prosecutor in the 1989 obstruction-of-Congress case, also known as the Iran Contra affair.

I would think that RN was carrying her phone everywhere, waiting for JS calls. Hoping he would invite her to hospital.... If an unkown number was calling, I think she would have answered - in case JS was calling from a hospital phone. Since its been mentioned on here that a red towel was in hallway outside mansion bathroom--- I am speculating RN was in shower/bath and did not hear the call. However, you think she would have kept checking her phone. So, maybe she was preoccupied with/by something. Or, maybe they were fighting - possible hung up on him, and did not want to answer his call..... all speculation. At this point, I have heard that JS said he had called to give her bad news. The phone message was erased, so who knows what was really said... Only JS knows the truth.

In regards to JS attorney.... I heard a different story on HLN Janes show @ tonght. The reporter said immediately following RNs body found--- JS told Z family this was suicide... however, at same time he hired either an investigative attorney and /or detective - can't recall. We all heard he had an attorney at the crime scene since they even gave out his name- I remember googling his name and WS posts that most likely for anyone whose name started with letter S. May be why RN lied there all day- waiting for attorney, to show up. He can afford to buy the A Team.

In my opinion, one of the most significant issues in this case is the sailor knots. Dr Drew named each one last night and stated they were the type of knots used in sailing.
I heard that too, but when you watch the video of the ropes around the wrists, it's mostly just wrapping the rope over and over around wrists and the putting the ends around the outside and making a slip knot. Really not a sailing knot.

Dr. Drew and others described it as cleat hitch knot. It's used for securing a boat.

This story just keeps getting stranger and stranger. A cease & desist letter from JS to RZ's family attorney? Could he be any more callous? Shouldn't he be supporting them if he is innocent? He has plenty of $ to help them find answers to their questions but instead, he is using his dough to pay attorneys to threaten them from speaking. TOO BAD JONAH! We the pubilc are not stupid or willing to turn a blind eye. A big thanks to all the people here. Please, lets all stay dedicated to not letting this one get away. The truth needs to be told. Whatever that may be.

You could have experience with knots like those and not know anything about sailing.

--Justice for Rebecca--Family sets up website---

About Us
Justice for Rebecca has been set up due to the recent decision by the San Diego Sheriffs Department to not only fail to give Rebecca Zahau justice, but instead publicly disgraced the memory of Rebecca, and refused to fight for the voiceless victim. It is our intention to gain support financially to help the Zahau family be able to fund the investigation the SDSD refused to perform.

Who has set up this site? Is it legit?

He's also compelled to deliver value to his shareholders. If people are stating damaging info about him to the media as fact - he has to respond. I agree though he needs to go the extra mile in private with her family until they are satisfied.

I don't think that is his intentions at all but if he is totally innocent and IMO he is and had no involvement in Rebecca's death then Bremner should not throwout reckless false accusations.

If someone was lying about me I sure would speak up or obtain an attorney.

The attorney made it very clear in his letter to Ms. Bremner that the Z family is entitled to believe as they choose and in no way has to agree with the police determinations.

It is when Bremner makes it personal against Jonah or putting out falsehoods concerning Max and Rebecca's death ......then that is wrong without facts to back it up and she hasn't produced one fact to back any of it up.

IMOO

Bremner said in nationally printed articles that Max's two teenaged siblings were in the house when the accident occurred and that Max was planking. Neither of these claims appear to be true, and certainly the presence of the older siblings can be easily refuted if they weren't there. I am guessing they were not in the home and that this was proven beyond a doubt. Jonah has a family, too, and he is evidently trying to protect them - and yes, himself - from Bremner's unproven accusations.

Sailing knots -- the 'cleat hitch': having lived on a sailboat, I can tell you that sailing knots are secondhand to sailors like my husband. He uses them all the time - for anything (and we don't even have a boat right now).

BUT - what stands out to me here is - how can you tie that knot on yourself?!? I don't think it's possible, if that's what was around her wrists. I know how to do one so maybe I'll experiment.

If someone was as experienced in those knots as you are determined to continue insinuating, they would have a more suitable material on hand, rather than the stiff, unwieldy cord (possibly found in the garage) that was used on Rebecca.
