3/14/23 Tuesday, Trial Day 9: No info available. Trial continues on Thursday, 3/16/23. Last day of trial.
@Niner That’s correct. They have a jury trial on the calendar today and then nothing else. The docket is silent as to what has happened so far and doesn’t have any more dates added. I have searched MSM and social media every day with no results. I’ll check the docket again tomorrow morning to see if it updates one way or another.

And I too have search - every day of trial - and absolutely nothing is coming up.... still wondering WHY Auburn Journal is not covering this trial??!!

Who knows? It’s strange. I hope Ryan Bonari’s family member comes back and gives an update and that Justice was served.

I’ve been catching the comments and posts of everyone saying things on this forum and on Facebook for some time now some nasty things that people who don’t even know him or were there etc so today is the day I can speak my mind/truth…My brother Skylar Warren-Perry was found NOT GUILTY on all charges aka he was FULLY ACQUITTED!!! I could say so much as I was angry about alot of things but I just wanted to post the facts that he was not guilty, and the jury agreed with that!

I am glad for you & your brother. I wish him Luck in going forward.

I am surprised that no newspapers covered his trial - we were all left in dark on the happenings in the court room.

edited to add: do have some MSM articles for his not guilty verdict?

Spoke (or typed) too soon - found an article! A very long article!

Mar. 16, 2023
......
On March 16, the jury found Warren-Perry not guilty on all charges.
Yes that article was super long but opened my eyes to everything he went through and honestly I’m just grateful to see him again we lost my brother 5 months to the day he was arrested and it’s been a long rough road we’re just ready to move on from this!

He got lucky this time but with his track record he will do it again and be back behind bars soon enough. Plus he will have to live with the fact he murdered an innocent person and a little girl will never see her daddy again. And to answer your question yes, the auburn journal was there every day reporting. They just haven’t done the article yet.

I can’t even say luck had anything to do with it being there was a long drawn out process and trial and he isn’t going to just be back behind bars again this has been horrible experience for your family but has also been horrible for him and us as well, I’m sorry for the loss of your brother as I too know what that pain feels like we lost my brother 5 months before this unfortunate accident happened and I don’t think any words or anything could fix that pain you feel but I know that when he found out your brother had died he was puking his brains out he even stated he didn’t know he hit him or anything and was so remorseful with us his family regardless if he’s never said that (idk if he has or hasn’t) but to call it murder like it was premeditated it wasn’t he was in fear for his life and if you read that article or were in the court room the whole time then you’d understand that fact it’s not like he went to the bar and intentionally started any of this or expected it to go out the way it did if you want to blame anyone blame Trinidad the one who knocked his friend out and physically tried to hurt him 🤬🤬🤬🤬 even kill him all of it is very sad he lost his wife/family and has to regain trust with not just his daughter but to start over I’m sure he will have mental anguish over all this for years so for you to say he has to “live with the fact he murdered an innocent father and a little girl won’t see her dad again” trust me we all have felt the pain not just from his absence but for your family as well I’m truly sorry that you have the hate in your heart like you do but I hope over time that it changes!

Yes I was there every day and watched every single video of the night. I know my brother was not his intent and that he did not plan on killing him. But he did and he took off and hid, he didn’t turn himself in. He waited until he was tracked down by the sheriffs, if they hadn’t found them he would have hid forever hoping to “get away with it” That doesn’t show remorse in my eyes. I’ve looked at him every single month for almost 4 years and I’ve never seen or heard any remorse from him to any of us. And my heart breaks for his child as well, that her fathers choices led to her going without him for this long. but at least he gets that chance to show up and hug her and hear each others voices.

Well I didn’t know the whole story and I probably wouldn’t until I’m with him face to face I never wanted to talk about his case over the phone as I didn’t want anything to be worse for him…I heard the fact that he was trying to cover his bases before he turned himself in he met with a lawyer once he found out your brother was killed and was planning to turn himself in his lawyer had set up an appt to meet with the cops but was picked up that night not that they had to hunt him down like a dog so to speak and obviously he was freaking out as to all that was on the news and what had happened we know he never wanted any of this to play out like it did but don’t point the finger on how he killed Ryan like he deliberately did it this whole situation was awful and who knows I don’t I wasn’t there I know he was 26 and now almost 30 so I’m sure some maturity and responsibility there was lacking but there again I don’t know how he felt or anything as I wasn’t there…he would never ever feel he got away with it because that’s not my brother who you saw every day for almost 4 years is what your calling a murderer but you and your family do not know him as a person or how he is outside of jail/court he’s not who you are painting the picture of! Again I don’t wanna go back and forth with you maybe he didn’t speak or show remorse at court because he knows how you guys feel and who could blame him? He’s just thankful to have his freedom back and be able to start over with his life etc again I know Ryan’s daughter doesn’t have that chance and for that I’m sorry but hating Skylar won’t change or fix that either! The jury deliberated and he was found not guilty and that’s where it stands all of us want to move forward now not dwell on this!
