Ryan's Mom said there was 2 autopsies. I know she said that.

Ryan was married in December of 2012.

Ryan's husband and mother are friends on facebook, for what it's worth.

I think I said July somewhere, but that's when they posted the pictures of the wedding. They were married only 7 months before he disappeared. Beautiful wedding pictures.

I see they are friends, but she never mentions him. On the donation page she says a "friend" was going to bring his body back. I am assuming she means KB.

Iris Flowers’ son Ryan Singleton (pictured) had left Atlanta back in July to pursue his dream to become a Hollywood actor. Sadly, the dream was cut short when he went missing during a trip to Las Vegas and eventually was found dead by joggers on September 21, in the desert near Baker, Calif.

Wouldn't there be a report of the body being found listed here?

The MSM says trip to LV, his husband says he was going to NY. Still seems hinky that he doesn't mention him again until his body is found. I wonder if mom feels the same way and that is why she was trying to stir up some MSM - to get LE to investigate the possibility of homicide further.

Maybe he just died from the elements (extreme heat). I wonder if his car was out if gas or broken down.

So sad that he lost his life. R.I.P. Handsome Ryan

Just because I am dumbfounded, am I posting again...<modsnip>

Body harvesting wouldnt be done in a desert, much more to this story, family should be checking the friends. and thats jmo

Just wondering what was discovered when Ryan's car was processed.

Was it out of gas? Flat tire? Any other mechanical problems?

Is there any report/confirmation of the last time he actually spoke with his mother/family as per reports he took several "road trips".

So, until now I never thought about the rate of decomposition of internal organs specifically.

I think the ME would be able to tell if the organs were missing due to natural decomposition, animal scavenging, or surgical extraction. I hope a definitive statement is made.

FWIW, I did some sleuthing last night and found some hinkiness, lol, jmo.

What an odd coincidence about liking the transplant page.

When was the official missing persons report filed? Any prior MSM about this young man missing? I haven't come across anything. He sure was gorgeous.

How awful for Ryan's mother to have to think about such awful things if that is not even the case.

IIRC, in the video it mentions Ryan was found "in a wash" (reminds me of Adrienne Salinas and PM in AZ). I wish there were more details about the location, etc.

Again, so many questions, ones I'm sure I'll never know the answer to.

Man, if this is a hoax, or misunderstanding, then wow, everything I came across last night must all just be a bunch of crazy coincidences!! <note to self in case it turns out this is not a misunderstanding: "c.s., n, c.b., m, c">

<I guess pieces can be made to fit any theory, right?>

Off this for sure, RIP Ryan may one day it be resolved..

So, is it possible for animals to get to the remains and the remains not be scattered? TIA. Seems odd. Also, if there is extreme decomp, do all organs just completely disappear? Not even a residue or frame? Sorry, I know nothing about decomposition <researching now>. I guess a skeleton is, well, a skeleton...

The Rate of Decay in a Corpse
Author: Jack Claridge - Updated: 4 September 2013
http://www.exploreforensics.co.uk/the-rate-of-decay-in-a-corpse.html

"that the internal organs of the deceased will begin to decay in a particular order; beginning with the intestines, which as well as holding bacteria also hold various levels of acidic fluid which – when unable to circulate – begin to eat through their surrounding tissues. As the intestinal organs decay so too do the liver, kidneys, lungs and brain. "

So, I guess in all these other cases here where there was extreme decomp and just skeletal remains were found, there were no organs there either? So, technically, many of these other threads could have "missing organs" next to them as well? With the publicity now in this case, I'm sure LE will be making an official statement soon. I feel kind of stupid honestly for not realizing that many skeletal remains found are missing their organs...duh. But the way this whole story unfolded and the way the mother was talking...sorry for the multiple posts, this one really grabbed me. But, as I said above, if this case turns out to be as it was initially presented, well, then, there are lots of places to start looking as far as hinkiness and crazy coincidences go.

I think what might have caused confusion for Ryan's poor mother, and for many who read the story, is the fact that the body was said to be "mostly intact" with the internal organs missing. A body exposed in the heat of a desert will decompose differently than a body in a humid or mixed environment. Before reaching the skeletal stage, mummification often occurs. Skin tissue will toughen and provide a protective shell for the insect activity and autolysis which occurs internally. On the exterior, the body appears "intact".
With outdoor exposure, remains are more likely to pass through a long period of dehydration of outer tissues, mummification, and reduction of desiccated tissue. Exposure of large portions of the skeleton usually does not occur until four to six months after death.

4. Mummification of outer tissues only with internal organs lost through autolysis or insect activity.

Mummification is typically the end result of tissue, usually skin, with no nutritional value, which has survived the active decay process and is formed by the dehydration or desiccation of the tissue. Remaining skin is converted into a leathery or parchment-like sheet which clings to bone. Mummification most commonly develops in conditions of dry heat or in areas that have very low humidity, such as in arctic regions or desert
