Yes I think so. Anything new I had to leave for 10min.

No, nothing really. Tons of fire and shaken people.
This is stuff nightmares are made of. :(

I can't seem to get audio on that live feed. Is it just me?

The Fox live feed? I am getting no audio, as well... just an aerial shot.

ETA: now I am seeing nothing on the feed. :(

On KGO, they just had a PG&E guy, Jeff Smith, or something like that. He sounds like he is related to that former President of BP. "Too early to tell if its a gas leak." Oh brother, let the lawsuits start.

It's already been reported that it was a break in a two-foot pipe!
8:00 p.m. -- The explosion was caused by a break in a two-foot-wide natural gas pipeline, the first such incident since a pipeline explosion killed several construction workers in Walnut Creek in November 2004.

Apparently that gas is coming down the line from Texas. They weren't sure where the turn off was in that area? ( a phone interviewee)

Thats what my brother just said. He used to be a lineman. Said someone screwed up but lets hope he didn't lose his life.

On Nightline they said hundreds are going to shelters and that 5000 people have no power.

They cant even get near the area to see if lives were lost.

ITA with the reporter, consitent flame burning at home sites. Looks like gas. I'm wondering if the lines ruptered in the homes.

maybe it's best I don't have sound then

(my cat did something weird to my speaker wire & hubby said he fixed it but clearly not)

I'd say it's for the best. The live feed is bad enough.

Did you notice all the green flames?

Wow, the infrared satellite monitoring the west coast is spotting the heat from the fire...

ETA: talking about a weather satellite

Yeah, definitely looks like yellow torches at houses that look like mini version of the big ball of fire.

No, wth would cause green flames?

I was thinking it was the gas.:waitasec: I don't usually see green flames in fires.

Could that be the reason I'm seeing green flames?
