CORRALITOS, Calif. —

Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies are still searching for a missing Corralitos man who vanished three years ago.

Shannon Humphreys was 54-years-old at the time of his disappearance, 6-feet-tall, and weighs 200 pounds. He was last seen in Watsonville, California, Corralitos Rd, on September 6, 2018. Friends of Humphreys say it's very unusual that he hasn't contacted anyone over the time he has been lost.

"It's frustrating to go through everyday and keep wondering," the man's friend, Josh Coffman, said.

Shannon left his house on Freedom Boulevard and Corralitos Road, and has never been heard from again. He left behind his car, wallet, cell phone and beloved dog Sampson. He was carrying only the front door key to his house.

"He left with just the front door key to the house. He left his dog, which he never leaves anywhere. He takes his dog everywhere," Coffman said.​

Humphreys has worked at a motorcycle shop for the past eight years; "Moore and Sons". When he didn't show up for work, his boss became concerned. Shannon's favourite activity was motocross racing.

It's unknown what means of transportation Humphreys may have used to leave the area. His car remains out front of where he was living in Corralitos. His family and friends say this is a very unusual behavior for him.

Details of Disappearance​

Humphreys was last seen in Watsonville, California on September 6, 2018. He left his house on Freedom Boulevard and Corralitos Road, never returned has never been heard from again. He left behind his car, wallet, cellular phone and cherished dog; he was carrying only the front door key to his house.

Humphreys is missing under suspicious circumstances, as it's uncharacteristic of him to leave without warning. He had worked in a motorcycle shop, Moore and Sons, for eight years prior to his disappearance, and enjoyed motocross racing. Few details are available in his case.
