No, I don't think she accepted a ride. To be frank, Sierra was a middle-class girl and he's a low-class man. It's so apparent from his photos. She probably (must use a qualifier) wouldn't be caught with him.
I'm not entirely convinced he has triggers. I think he might just "go fishing" when his family life allows it. I would not be surprised at all if he has a string of random assaults. jmo.
Do you mean these? Article with sketch attached and I think the sketch is remarkably similar..

I totally agree with you. This is what I was basing my post on and sorry there is no link. this thread page 16, post 376. But, there are other posts too. jmo
Even if he isn't an RSO he apparently was not leading the perfect life. jmo
from the article:
The suspect parked his car in front of the driveway, where the girl was retrieving items from her parents car. He called to the girl from his seat, before she ran inside her home, notifying her parents. They then called the Gilroy police.
Interesting. I wonder if he had followed Sierra home before, and so he knew which driveway to sit and watch from?
Here is the article about the interview with his sisters. It tells more about his family.

OMG, that is a spitting image of the arrested perp!!from the article:

One question that's been racing through my mind is, how does one simply kidnap, rape and murder a child and then return back home and easily pretend like nothing ever happened? How can you carry out such an act and go back to your own daughter, knowing that you've just taken away someone else's daughter and not be remorseful or feel guilty at all? I suppose the answer to that would be that he's mentally ill, crazy, evil...but still, I just don't understand and probably never will.
I can't imagine what this nutcase would do if he found out his daughter had been murdered.

I think he had to of. I think he spotted her out somewhere or near the bus stop and followed her home. I keep going back to Sierra's tweets regarding a strange car she kept seeing on her street. I am so curious if it was the red Jetta. She never described it on her Twitter, but I wonder if she ever mentioned it to her family or friends.
