OMG this poster is saying on this news website that another girl was approached by somebody attempting to get her into his truck just the day before, only blocks away. She was approached Thurday afternoon by someone driving a green truck. He stopped and asked her to get inside - she froze, he started to get out and she ran to the nearest house
LE has a artists rendering of the man and a description of the truck.Go here and scroll down comments section and you will see it.

Here is a similar story in Walnut Creek. Sketch @ link.

The student at Walnut Creek Intermediate School told investigators that about 3:30 p.m. March 14 she got off a school bus near Tice Valley Boulevard and Crest Avenue in unincorporated Walnut Creek and was called to by a man in a faded red older-model sedan.

The man, who pulled up alongside her, asked how far she was walking and where she went to school, and offered her a ride, authorities said. When he asked where she lived, the girl ran home and the driver sped off.

This story is saying her books were in there too? Or am I reading this wrong. If that is true
the Juicy Bag was her book bag

It was her clothing. It was things that she would have kept with her and it was school books. We believe she was on her way to school. It shouldn't have been where it was. It definitely elevates our concerns," said Sheriff Laurie Smith of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.

Okay, I'm gonna say it. Her mom's affect bothers me for some reason.

Ditto. I have been trying to figure out if she is trying to not say information that LE has asked her not to tell anyone...or if she is just holding back/hiding information on her own. She seems stoic. Do you think that she could be on anti anxiety pills or something like that? I don't know...it doesn't feel genuine.

No amber alert has been issued? No reward offered?

No amber alert has been issued? No reward offered?

Q: Since she is a minor, why wouldn't an Amber Alert be issued?

Sgt. Jose Cardoza: Uh, because we don't have anything suspicious to confirm that there was a crime. Usually an Amber Alert is um, when we have an abduction, or, you know, we can confirm that there was a crime on top of the actual missing- you know, disappearance. We don't have that at this time. So, it's-you know- we don't want to- we need more information before we can lean in that direction.

Also Thursday, students at Sierra's Ann Sobrato High School set up a reward fund for information leading to her discovery, said Superintendent Wesley Smith. The schools in the Morgan Hill Unified School District will post donation boxes at their front offices, with the money being collected Thursday.

Checks, which can be dropped off or mailed to the schools, should be made payable to Ann Sobrato High School ASB. If Sierra is found before next week, officials will donate the money to charities that assist in finding missing people.

I think Sierra being referred to in the past tense bothered me most in that interview.

ETA: Was that the father or mom's bf with her? The guy with the shifty eyes.

I have felt that way too,and conflicting times of Sierra leaving for school.Maybe it has to do with the boyfriend who knows.

I was not to impressed by her handing out the flyers either and stopping everyone.I am sure with all the news reports everyone in that area knows she is missing. To me that was wasting time.I would get a small search party together and comb the highways, fields, and streets looking for any small clue I could find. But that is just me...so

Okay, I'm gonna say it. Her mom's affect bothers me for some reason. (quote above sorry, website acting strange) And RE: the newslink posted futher backThere is also someone on that site that is adament about the moms boyfriend being checked out.

For me I was wondering why the mom said her daughter was wearing something when she left (sharks uni) but in another statement it was her PJs. Then she says her daughter texted her what she was wearing?

I think she meant when she left Sierra was in her p'js. When Sierra left she was in the sharks shirt (courtesy of the pic in the sent message).

I thought it was strange too. My first thought was definitley some type of anti-anxiety meds (having much past experience with them)but I could be very wrong.
