Thanks, I found it. If this is true, I find it a bit interesting. It doesn't seem right to me that she would meet before school to discuss "homework".

Sounds to me like code for something other than "homework".

Could be code. But then again my DD used to go early and meet with friends and 'trade' homework answers some mornings. She and her friends used to break down the questions into groups and then each do 5 and then get together and fill it in. [The teachers said they didn't mind as long as the kids were getting together to discuss it as a group, and not just recopy it. ]

On her Twitter it looked like the majority of her friends are from Fremont. Do we know what investigation is being done there?

March 12th on her Twitter:

'I want to go to the mall. Someone take me.'

Do kids still hang out at the mall? If so, her acquaintance could have been there. People come from different schools and different ages..some out of school, etc. All the kids went to the mall and hung out when I was in highschool back in the late 80's.

I am curious from this statement if she was allowed to drive with other kids...

Upthread, I suggested that it's possible she could've had a relationship with someone no one knew about. She could've easily concealed that using a disposable phone. ETA: My point being we can't assume we know the whole story just because she didn't leave a trail on SM.

I don't think it's safe to assume a teen wouldn't hide anything just because they didn't think mom and dad were watching.

I hope this is exactly what is going on... Maybe she was involved with an older man perhaps married.. Maybe they both took of out of the country for some reason? In this case she would be alive..and loving life..

Or

She was secretly seeing an older or married man, and he picked her up that morning with a plan to get rid of her... She could have been thinking she was off on a nice romantic date, hopped into his car..and things turned ugly almost immediately

If that were the case and she didn't want a trail she easily could have deleted that info so her parents didn't see it. She wouldn't be concerned about what LE would have been able to find. I don't see her as being concerned at all that her parents would find something but if so *delete*.

I agree. But if the man is involved with or married so someone else, then sierra would want to keep everything under wraps...not from her parents but from the gf or wife of the perp...

Ok, I am trying to go with you here, not dispute you. I can see him having a disposable phone but why would she need one?

If this is the scenario, I do believe Sierra was smart enough to know it's far better to not leave a trail at all than to try and clean one up afterwards.

I don't see a reason or a teen thinking that deeply. She would have kept her bag with her if she willingly went with someone.

His calls would show up on her bill.

Hardly deep thinking for the average tech saavy fifteen yeaar old.

The folded clothes and the bag could be interpreted (and have by some) as staging.

I'd love to have Tricia clarify where she learnt the fast moving thing. Was it an assumption by Tricia? I don't think it'd be hard to momentarily pull over to toss something? The bag was tossed at an intersection, good chance they were slowing to turn or give way on the main road IMO.

Sierra's tweet regarding the car thing is vague, I don't think it necessarily suggests someone was bothering her specifically with a car. It was in the afternoon around the end of school time, maybe someone was showing off doing wheelies in the carpark?

Now the photo of the phone - she mentions she is facetiming herself in the tweet. Facetime is an iPhone app but it's reported the phone found is an android. Unless she was saying facetime like we say we are going to "google" something or need a klennex but actually was using a similar android app. Combined with the friend's comment, that's very interesting! The white phone does look like an iPhone to me.

I noticed she txt's her tweets that aren't from the web. Suggests to me she doesn't have data on the phone but perhaps unlimited txt?

What abut a yahoo or MySpace account?. AOL Aim perhaps.
Or ICQ

Yes, all are possible. I am not that familiar with all the different apps that you can use where you can video chat, other than Skype.

She would not leave everyone that she loved behind like this. Nothing anywhere indicates this. For a day thing maybe but then she would have made up a story to friends at school for not being there. Called school to fake illness, etc.

IMO:
She would have one because he gave her one maybe... Perhaps he planned abducting Sierra all along, from day one... At some point in the relationship, he gets her a disposable or tells her to get one... So that their contact can never be traced... He was thinking of his future plans with her,, and she was busy being in love....
Maybe that is why the friend said on twitter that "that wasnt her phone"...perhaps there are two phones she used and LE only found one???

My youngest said ooVoo is popular here but i don't know if it is in other areas. She's being punished and not allowed to use her laptop now but i can have her look if it takes too long for the older ones to get home who are 2 hrs away in the city. They have friends in Cali who never heard of ooVoo so may not be used there.

I don't get the vibe that Sierra was with someone married or much older than herself/

She was really into cheerleading and her sister, and her homework projects. Even her worst tweets were 'adolescent ' in nature. [ pinatas full of weed and pills]

I think she liked boys her own age or a couple of years older. She looked and dressed her own age, imo.
