It sounds like there really isn't much we know for sure including the condition the bag was found in, what the contents were.

  • #383
We know a heck of a lot compared to other cases I've followed.

The clothes were removed from a drawer, table, etc, already folded and placed in the bag. Who put them in the bag is the question? Did she use two different hairbrushes? If that bag was used for a change, I am sure we would have seen hair products, deodorant, toothbrush, etc....IF she planned to spend the night somewhere.

I don't see her wanting to carry a bag that doesn't fit over the shoulder when going to school. That particular bag would never be worn over the shoulder but carried in one hand...not a good bag for school.

I am really into bags, I love them...LOL

BBM

They were? Where did you read that?

Why would she take a pic with her clothes on and send it to her friend and then neatly fold them again and put them back in a drawer?

A lot of the teens I know hold their books in one arm and hold their purse with their other hand or they will take the purse and put it up on top of their books and carry it that way folding both arms together.

Whether it was a good bag for school or not it was the bag she carried. You cant convince my granddaughter it is not a good bag to carry to school. LOL! She has other Juicy bags too. She loves them.

OMG! I saw LOTS of makeup. She concentrated on her eyes and lips...Big Time!

Most young teenage girls wear some makeup especially, like you said, concentrating on eyes and lips. Glosses, eyeliners and mascara.

What about her wallet, keys? Did she wear jewelry?

  • #386
heck, if I know...LOL.

There has been no real talk about her keys.
But, if she left the house, she surely had to take them with her, because
she was probably often last to leave and first home in the afternoons.

Where oh where are those keys?

Sure, wouldn't any young girl? The thing is with the bag we saw, it has to be carried by hand. That poses a problem when you have books in the other. that leaves no room ro reach their cell easily.

She had to have an awful lot going on with her hands and arms when leaving that house.

Do they have lockers at Sierra's school?

My daughter rides a school bus and is 16. They do not have lockers in any grades here and these poor little kids haul large backpacks full of big books daily.
My daughter wears a small backpack and leaves two of her books at home. She says one book isnt used and one teacher has duplicate books in the classroom. She carries two binders and two books in her backpack. My daughter does not take a purse to school. She says most girls dont carry purses because they would get stolen. She takes her small make-up bag in her bookbag.

I guess something just doesnt add up for me with the size of the juicy bag. I wish we knew the dimensions and I am looking for that info.

Would she put her eye makeup on at school. My granddaughter puts her makeup on in the morning but she doesnt redo it at school and she is a senior this year and she is so beautiful. Reminds me a lot of Sierra except maybe a little curvier and filled out more but still petite. She has blue eyes instead of brown but she does have the long dark hair like Sierra. She was the first one I thought of when I saw Sierra's pic.

Sorry don't have the link handy, but LE stated they weren't sure exactly when the pic was taken, only when it was sent that Friday morning.

They said it could have been on a prior day.

Since Sierra was working on her Essay, I wonder if she really had that many books. Maybe one or a thick notebook.

Did Sierra wear makeup? In the photos I have seen of her I didnt see any makeup she wore. I thought that was refreshing that she was so pretty without a lot of makeup.

A guy wouldnt know diddly about that bag or how pricey it was and they wouldnt care either. Getting rid of it would be more important than keeping it.

I think they would, and my gosh it doesnt take hours to fold up a shirt and pants.:floorlaugh: It would make it so much easier to get everything in one bag and just toss the purse and move on.

imo

Then why not get rid of the rest of her stuff the same way? Is this freshly laundered clothes (I suspect it is) or were they worn. If he wanted to get rid of her worn clothing, why not the shoes and socks?

I wish there was a link to this because I remember LE saying this as well...that they were not sure the photo was taken that day.

Yes, that is what was first said, but then Marlene said the photo was taken that morning, and sent to her friend. The police now know. They know it was taken on the computer and everything has a time stamp and record.

I dont believe in coincidences. She has these clothes on in the pic she sent at 6:39 to a friend and THOSE clothes were found that very same day thrown away along with her purse and books and Sierra is gone without a trace.

Those are really the most important things that would tie him to Sierra's disappearance, imo.

Maybe he threw them away somewhere else because they wouldnt fit in the bag.

I saw it earlier today!
But, then I feel like I've seen 50 today, so I can't begin to tell where it is.

The quote was like, ~we know when it was sent, but the photo we are not sure when it was taken. It could have been a day or two before~.

To paraphrase, Clu.

Marlene told the media she took the pic of herself right before she left for school. LE contradicts that, saying they are not sure when it was taken.

I wouldn't think that would be difficult to figure out.

Sierra is petite and and could probably slide her arm through the carry handle and hike it up onto her shoulder. This would be a close fit to her body and under her armpit. This would free up her hands. I just cant see her carrying her books and binders in her arms.

Well, yeahbut, Marlene also said the pic was taken at 7:15.

So, she could be mistaken.
Have you seen LE say they were mistaken about the timestamp?

Meaning they used to think it could have been taken a day or two before, but whoops, looked at the timestamp and decided they made a mistake?

Only thing I ever heard about that was some "producer" from the NG show
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1204/04/ng.01.html

ZARRELL: What police are saying the shirt in the photo is very similar and resembles the shirt that was found in the purse, but, Nancy, police do not know when that photo was taken. The photo could have been taken a week or two weeks earlier. They don`t know if she took the photo that morning and then left to go to the school bus and was then abducted.
