Wondering about these girls...apologies if they've been mentioned.

Sherry Roach grew up in Santa Rosa, lived less than 2 hours away and was known to hitchhike and dye her hair. Wore glasses but maybe contacts too?

Mary Sue Kitts really resembles the reconstruction imo, but the circumstances don't necessarily fit as well.

Mary Sue Kitts' has the nose of the reconstruction & sketch. She really, really strongly resembles her generally, jmo. Picturing Calistoga Jane Doe to the left & Mary Sue Kitts to the right. I saw what you meant about the circumstances not necessarily fitting as well, but Mary Sue Kitts looks very much like her to me, too.

Another woman who strongly resembles the sketch is Phyllis Eleanor Berry:

The circumstances here I don't think align clearly, either. Last seen Nov 1 1975. 21 yo, 5'3" (+?) 110lbs. She was at a cooking event/camping trip in Terlingua TX, 10 to15 thousand attended (World Champion Chili Cook-Off). She may have left the event with a white male in his 20s on a motorcycle. While the images I've seen of Phyllis Berry look a lot like the sketches & reconstructions/renderings, she would have had to have been transported all the way from Terlingua TX to Calistoga Road, I believe 1500 miles. Still, I cannot get over the resemblance. There are quite a few images of Phyllis Berry circulating online. The timing with est date of death would actually align.

Still no ruleouts in Namus. I've been back through this entire thread and the only person definitively ruled out directly to WS members is Jeanette Kamahele (back on page 1).

I submitted Peggy Reed to Doe Network years ago and heard nothing- maybe they're just using pictures of her smiling to note inconsistencies??
The teeth of this UID were scattered, so it would be impossible to compare dentals against Peggy Reed, no? That’s disheartening. I really feel it is Peggy Ann Reed.

Not really. If you have x-rays of a missing person you can compare fillings, individual teeth etc. You can also reconstruct the jaws, teeth can’t fit anywhere.

So all is not lost.

Yeah they put together dentals frequently

Has anybody considered Helen Allison? 5'3, 16, brown-hair, glasses, and last contacted in Fairfax, Virginia May 11, 1972.

The fairly ambigous window of time our Jane Doe may have spent undiscovered leaves open so many potential candidates, and while there are many more local ones, I think it's reasonable to consider this case, as Allison was reporedtly believed to be travelling to the Washington D.C Area at the time of her date of last contact - evidence that she may have been a hitchhiker. I will say that it's unclear when she was reported missing, whether this was contemporary or retroactive years later. If Allison did travel to California from Virginia, she may have gotten by for a few months or even years, which could put her within the generally estimated timeline for Jane Doe's death.

She has 22 exclusions as of now, obviously none of which are Jane Doe. All points of this theory are purely circumstantial.

Were the dentals made public?
