Bumping for Steven
Can anyone tell what the outfit he is wearing is? I found a John Doe that was found in Virginia near a military base that might fit, but he is a bit shorter.

I'd honestly be shocked if the Doe found in Virginia isn't Steven. They look quite similar, and there's the military connection.

The UID also had the numbers "1963" tattooed on his fingers. I can't find Steven's DOB anywhere, but it would be in 1962 or 1963. Of course it's not mentioned that Steven had any tattoos, but whoever reported him missing could have failed to mention this or not know he had them (just like they could've reported his height and weight incorrectly).

I agree! I guess I wasn't paying much attention when I posted here previously. If Nate hasn't submitted these two I don't mind doing it. Seems like a match to me.

I can't access NamUs right now, only Doe Net.

"Tattoos on fingers of left hand; middle finger "9"; ring finger "6"; little finger possible "1"."

I read that as "169"...does NamUs say it's 1963? May not matter but I'm curious now. Regardless, I still think this is a match.

According to NamUs, it's 1963. It says this specifically: "Tattoo on left knuckles "1-9-6-3"

Here's the thread for the UID- Steven has already been suggested on there. VA - VA - Triangle, near Quantico, AsianMale, 252UMVA, 18-30, tattoo "1-9-6-3", clothes, Sept'84
Unfortunately he was cremated, so DNA comparison isn't an option, but they took fingerprints and dentals. If Steven was in the military, I assume he'd have his fingerprints on file?

Could that be a recent photo of him? It lists Jan. 1, 1984 as is missing date instead of Sept. I searched Ancestry and found a couple of addresses (more recent than 1984) for a man with the same name and DOB. If not him, who is the man CA OAG has on Steven’s profile?

That’s what I’m googling trying to figure out. That post was from a long time ago but I do remember doublechecking the age but still what the heck? That’s why I just posted ?, I didn’t know what to think.

I would guess they found he'd been arrested somewhere as an older man and managed to get the mugshot, but still can't pin his current whereabouts so still have him on the books as missing

Hello Richard,
Reaching out to ask how would I submit a potential match for this man if he does not have a doenetwork profile? I submitted it anyways but I dont know how to submit anything on Namus. I think that there is a strong possibility this person is in fact the "Hot Springs Ak hitchhiker" Their bone structure, eyebrows and all descriptions are almost a complete match. Steven Delgado has family on the east coast and also has a history of hitchhiking too. Unidentified passed approximately 6 weeks after missing person disappeared.

If I'm wrong that's ok too but he has not been excluded. I know this was kinda random to just ask on the wall like this. Your profile says your well known I figured you would know how if its possible to submit thru Namus. If I stepped outta bounds or your too busy I understand also. Thanks and have an amazing weekend.
