Something shady is going on IYAM!
At some point, people do have to try to move on and live their lives, especially when they have a child. But it seems awfully soon to just stop mentioning her. I try very hard to not be critical of families when they have a loved one missing. I can only hope that some event, like a holiday or birthday, will bring Susan's name back to light.
Oh I know, and good points. I just can't imagine going "oh well, she's gone..." so soon. I don't mean to be critical of the family at all, just saying how I'd probably react is very different. But like I mentioned before I still cry about my dog 2 years after she died, so maybe I'm just not very good at the whole moving on thing.
Great thought about holidays, birthdays etc. being a good opportunity to bring Susan up again. I wonder when her birthday is? Especially if it's before the holiday madness hits, that might be a perfect time to re-approach the media.
I would not stop looking either. I have thought from day one that Susan's disappearance was staged. I just couldn't decide by whom. I can't get a feel for this and have waffled back and forth. But I DO think some things are not being told.
BBM I can't help hoping if it's staged, it was by Susan herself.
That would be the Best case scenario that Susan staged it.
IMOO.
My Mom died almost three years ago at 90, and I think of her every day and miss her dearly. I would never rest if she had vanished into thin air under suspicious circumstances.
We can only pray and hope that Susan moved on under her own volition and for her own reasons. Otherwise, I can't fathom that LE and family could just go forward accepting the unknown.
I'm also hoping the disappearance was staged, by Susan. And maybe that's why the family isn't organizing searches and trying to keep her name in the news, because they know this, too. Maybe they know in their hearts that she was not happy where she was and took off and began a new life. They just aren't saying. That's the only way I would be able to just more forward with my life, fwiw.
Another woman nearly Susan's age was just reported missing from Roseville: http://www.news10.net/news/article/258169/2/Woman-missing-from-Roseville?sf17493831=1. It's probably unrelated, but wanted to post it just in case it sparks anything for anyone.
I came here to post the same thing. Getting scary. Roseville is NOT that big.
Cynthia Figueroa, 53, has been missing since Wednesday from Roseville. She is described as a white woman, 5'6" tall, weighing about 130 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes. Read more at http://on.news10.net/1eyOZi6
