Good memory. You prompted me to look it up.

CA CA - Susan Jacobson, 59, Sun City/Roseville, 2 May 2013 - #1 Here's what LittleMissContrary found:

I also noticed that there are property records in Sacramento county, Clark County, Nevada, and Placer county for Susan and her husband. <snip> I am not certain but it appeared that Susan and her husband were involved with more than one property in Placer county in recent years, but as the apn was not indicated on all the entries, I am not 100% certain. I also noted a number of property records in Nevada and in Sacramento.

I don't recall seeing specifics on what LMC found, just the states and counties. Hopefully she'll weigh in.

FWIW, Walnut Grove is in Sacramento County (just barely). Here's a county map for those interested http://www.californiacountymaps.com/sacramento_county.shtml, and Roseville is in Placer County http://www.californiacountymaps.com/placer_county.shtml.
Thank you for researching this, NikB!

Good information to keep in our minds...

I wonder if LE searched any of these properties?

You cant copy and paste them you can paraphrase

I know that. I was talking about a discussion of FB posts. Like why a post was deleted.

Is anyone even looking for Susan?

Sadly... From viewing the find Susan FB... And from lack of media reports... It doesn't look like there have been searches for quite a while...

Unless... LE is searching... And we are not aware of it...

I posted something this morning and they deleted it. :seeya:

I know that also. I don't think that there are exceptions to TOS based on who made the Facebook post.

:blushing: Is it the FB page an official page to find Susan? If so, I thought discussions were okay? Am I wrong? Maybe...

I do ask every so often on the various LE Facebook and "Patch" pages. I always seem to get "yes we still know about it and we're looking for her" but that's about it. It's maddening. I agree, it doesn't seem like any formal searches have happened for a long time.

I thought so too but I reported my own posts and asked for them to be pulled just in case. Hopefully a mod will help clarify.

Deleted?!?

No action to speak of on Susan's FB page...

But the pic of the ring and your question are deleted immediately?

Looks like the page is monitored more closely than I thought...

:what:

Woah. I'd call that in. Who would delete that? Is KJ the administrator? The news said it's a vintage set which makes me think older married woman, height and weight is close and they didn't think she had been there long and why not just put her in the water unless trying to destroy identity? Also, the original story discovery mentioned a mole on the lower back. Looking for that link. Maybe contact Susan's sister and see if she recognizes the ring(s) or had a mole?

I just posted an innocuous question whether or not there have been searches since last summer. From what I could see on the FB page, it looks like only MSM articles are posted, and no comments from anyone. I wish SJ's son would visit us again to share any news.

Mmmmm.

I hope -- and doubt the body found is Susan. Where it was discovered looks too close to a road to have been there for a long time. The ring(s) don't look genuine, either (missing stone, color wearing off), plus it looks like Susan is wearing a wide band in the photograph. There is identifiable information that wasn't obliterated by the fire -- hair color, height and weight, approximate age, mole on the back.

Susan's disappearance seemingly into thin air has totally stumped me. And the quiet surrounding her case makes no sense at all. I don't care how "shy" Susan is, her family members needed to be front and center in finding her. I use past tense because so little was done, even in the beginning when the trail was still fresh.

Like, how can one function when a family member just disappears?

I don't know because when my family member disappeared we didn't just "carry on". In regards to the ring. I think it might be real because it's still in decent condition after high heat. But, if it's not would a criminal mind place odd identifying information on the body to act as a red herring? Why would you LEAVE real identifying info like jewelery after burning it to hide identifying information? Weird. I hope they do DNA, and compare to KJs to make sure it's not her.

I'd think possibly the ring was an oversight, or, more likely that the perp assumed the fire would destroy everything. Some people think fire=ashes and nothing else.

All these cases are special, but there is something about SJ that just twists my heart.

I'm sure this thread is being read by a "guest". I have felt that way all along.

Anywho, can anyone think of anybody who is missing from that area besides poor Susan, or even another area that would link up there easily. Does anybody know how close the nearest house or store is? Would this be an area that somebody would know about if they're not local? I guess if people come there to fish or use their boats, anybody would know about it. But I also think this body was not burned and left there during the summer months. Not sure how long is a long time to LE.
