How could Thaddeus get out? Wasn't the front door locked for the night? No one went to check on Thaddeus during the night? That seems to be a long gap, 10 PM to 8:30 AM. How many people are there in the house?

I do NOT like this. Kiddo just learned to walk and is super special needs. And he just leaves home during a 10 hour period when everyone else is apparently peacefully slumbering?

I don't believe this child left the house on their own. Are both parents accounted for?

FBI is already involved, I wonder why so quickly?

The Madera Police Department held a news conference Wednesday afternoon where Police Chief Dino Lawson said he has reached out to the FBI who is assisting with the investigation into the disappearance of 2-year-old Thaddeus Sran.

When asked why there has been no Amber Alert issued, Chief Lawson said, "We're not there yet."

The Campos family is driving around searching for missing Madera 2-year-old Thaddeus Sran. Complete strangers that just wanted to help. They told me they share a bond with the family because they also had a child with special medical needs. @CBS47 @KSEE24

Did I hear the neighbor correctly when she said the house is fenced all the way around? So... a toddler who just learned to walk and according to police is still mostly crawling managed to get out of a presumably locked house that's fenced in and poof! disappears?

I can see why LE isn't ruling anything out...

Thaddeus was last seen wearing a red shirt and Spider-Man pants. Police say he was born premature and has serious medical needs including the need to use a feeding tube.

“We’re not ruling anything out at this point, it could be that somehow he got out of the house, it could be an abduction, everything is on the table, we are leaving no stone unturned,” said Madera Police Chief Dino Lawson.

Lawson says the family moved into their home on the 800 block of C street a few weeks ago.

“I’m just a little confused because there hasn’t been anything happening around here, like crimes or anything,” said neighbor Karla Aguilar.

Aguilar’s little brother is Thaddeus’s age. She says her siblings usually play outside but on Wednesday they decided to stay in. That afternoon, Rosalina Campos and her kids decided to search for the little boy themselves, driving through the neighborhood, calling out the window for him.

“I saw a picture of him so I know who we are looking for and we hope we can find him because I find it sad,” said 12-year-old Mariah Campos.

They searched the neighborhood for hours but saw no sight of Thaddeus.

I saw this on the news last night and immediately knew something was not right with the initial story. I pray I’m wrong. :(
