I am still very confused by what seems to be conflicting information. There are two versions of what Wills wife has said.

1---she did not know the nephew had visited that day
2---he told her he had been over but had just left

which one is the truth?

In the press conference someone asked Wills wife if she new the nephew was there and she said no, this is what I recall. Going to look and see if I can find the link.

Short 2 hour search with drizzle. I did place my second phone call to Det. Ralph Hernandez 1 hour earlier than the first one and it too went to voice mail. No return call at the time of this posting. North on Sierra Hwy. from Soledad Cyn. rd. Most businesses have fencing preventing access to back property. The couple of locations I know of are unlikely drop points in this case. Went north of Vasquez cyn. rd. to the "halfway house café" seen in many movies. Took Vasquez cyn. for the second time heading west stopping at places not walked on day 1 posting. Very little traffic, many drop locations. This is one of the most secluded stretches of road in close proximity to a family living location. I have looked again today in this living location for any vehicle resembling the one in the 5:06 to 5:12 video as the 2 car garages have NO doors and parking is over crowded on the street.....my assumption, white vehicle might have been impounded and still is or at some unknown friends location. I agree with what SmartSassyBBW posted above this. I drove past today also and see that it appears that Linda is home today. I have not and will not stop to ask questions....I don't feel a male should do this, but it might be more acceptable and proper if a female asked questions.

HERESAY & MY THOUGHTS follow: I'm starting to think that an unlocked dumpster could have been the drop location which means I had no chance for a solution in this case...the first week, they all would have been disposed of. In our community, all of our home trash is sorted, but I am not sure if dumpsters go direct to land fills. All of my searches "assumed" a single person in the white SUV which kept my search to a location for easy roll out of 140# bundle with easy dragging or down hill roll. But if the video is edited from the time stamping and perhaps "narrowed", even though I believe the neighbor claims it is SIMILAR to a family members and I thought LE asked about identifying occupant(s), if there was a second person from 5:06 to 5:12, then the bundle could be more easily lifted or carried a longer distance than I have looked. With all this time walking, I questioned whether I overlooked or didn't look far enough.
Sounds like you've gone above and beyond what anyone can be expected to do.

I'm not sure of your relationship with this family (Will's side?). Why is the family not helping in the search? What are they saying? Have you spoken to the nephew? Or is no one saying anything?

Depending on your relationship to the family, I don't think Detective Hernandez will return your calls.

I wouldn't assume that if someone took Wills, that they knew what they were doing or knew where to go or where to leave him. Maybe a place they are familiar with.

I'm sure the detectives have a timeline re the nephew.

I'm a bit like a bull in a China shop so forgive me if my questions are too probing. But I'd want to know.

Before I answer, if your name RAZZ is associated to the poker game, I actually play NoLimitSingleDraw2-7...

Any question to me is fair game and I enjoy the response. I have reached that age in life where I think clearly and needed to wean myself away from the laptop....yes poker. So the walking is my way to increase lung capacity along with exercise. I am not in anyway associated to this family. We have a FB "emergency" closed group for our community and when this story was first posted, I wanted to help. Without asking Linda any questions, but going on what we all have read, I have put my own un-posted spin into this. I have in the past purchased a car for a family member (so they could get to work) that initially we didn't know had bigger issues, treated it like it grew on a tree, crashed it and asked for another car. I DON'T KNOW IF MONEY WAS LOANED AND MORE REQUESTED, JUST MY SPIN. I don't know if any family member is searching, I hope people are but it doesn't effect my quest. A step family member has ranted about how this community doesn't know the nephew, loves his uncle, so I Pm'd this person offering all of them to join me, let me learn more about William, FB shows what time they saw this and refused to answer.

Short 2 hours between rain cells....all in Castaic. Off Castaic Rd., Tapia Cyn. & Charlie Cyn. (Note: (6) 3 ft. tubes with running water under Tapia Cyn). Ridge Route Rd. above Northlake Hills Elementary School to the largest water tank. The satellite view does not show the nearly 200 ft. slope on the east side of this road, heavy dump area. Sloan cyn. rd is NOT maintained by the county public works so I didn't check that out.

On a local closed FB group concerning emergencies, a step relative has been speaking for family members. I have sent a PM offering any of them to give me some insight and go with me on my searches. I asked this person to arrange this help, they saw the message but choose to not participate......1. He's still missing.
And his nephew didn't do this. He loves his uncle. They're very close.
His wife spoke to him after his nephew left. He was fine.
Whether they try to pin this on his nephew or not. It's complete bull****. This is my family and I know them all personally. 2. All of us are deeply taken back by all of this. It doesn't make since knowing Will's character. And I know my step brother, (his nephew) wouldn't hurt his uncle. They were best buds.
It's a complete mystery and We can't believe its happening.
No, I am not the Poker RAZZ, nor do I play. Sorry.

Your above response has me confused. It sounds to me like you're saying, "My nephew wouldn't do this" They're my family". Am I misinterpreting? Would you clarify?

So why are you putting calls into Detective Hernandez?

Thanks.

He's just a concerned local who is part of a local (to the disappearance) group that responds/assists with disasters. Not his nephew, not his family, etc.
hope this helps - SC

So the following is a quote from nephews step brother?

Yes, this. I have read both stories here on Will's thread. Don't know which is accurate....a lot would depend on which story is true, but jmo. Wonder if anyone has taken poly yet ?

Yes, I believe that to be a quote from a local group, where the step-brother posted. Step bro to the nephew.

Yes I have seen both stories as well. I am siding with what Wills wife said...she did not know as she states it clearly at the press conference. The other was in an article I believe I read online and who knows who supplied that info, probably the one speaking for the nephew. jmo

Thank You Simply Caustic, you are correct. Sorry RAZZ for not clarifying more clearly.

Debbiegarcia36, it is a "Step Sister".

This case is so troubling and it has similarities to the disappearance of Robert Hoagland of Newtown, CT in July 2013. Seems like no one is talking....family, friends, neighbors, police. Simply disturbing.

3 hours along Hwy. 14 Antelope Valley Fwy. Lost cyn. rd. is not a continuous paved road but is designated as such along the south side of Hwy. 14 with river....there are 2 locations that are paved and go under the freeway to the river. Northeast of Soledad cyn. rd. where it crosses Hwy. 14 near Curtis Sand & Gravel, just less than 1 mile is an untraveled short road named Stonecrest rd. that goes under the freeway to the north and immediately connects to Valley Canyon Rd. I spent majority of the time walking the entire asphalt portion and perhaps 100 yd. of dirt extension to this. You cannot be seen from the freeway above and it is approx. 40-50 ft. slope to the river. Total dumping location. The dirt portions are 100% mud, so I didn't try up either of those canyons.

Why would no one be talking? Do police know who it is and have asked everyone to be patient AND be quiet?

Or are they clueless?

Are there reasons to think Wills would voluntarily leave his home and not communicate with anyone?

Are there reasons to believe that family members have a reason to be involved in his disappearance. Or that one in particular would do him harm?

Maybe they suspect someone very, very close to him but don't want to show their hand?

Maybe a neighbor? Someone he'd been feuding with?

Someone from work?

Maybe they're covering all tips and leads.

Maybe the rains have made investigating more difficult. Would there be a trail for the dogs to follow?

Maybe the person or people they suspect have circled the wagons and are not saying squat. Could be there's been some lawyering up of potential suspects.

I think neighbors, family, wife would be demanding an update. By this time it would be reasonable.

Could be all of the above. Just like the Missy Bevers case in Texas. It's been silent for months. No clue as to who killed her on the church property.
