Call Out for Help from Va Beach Va Folks

We have a benefit coming up 7/14/2012 at the Clubhouse Bar and we need help with area business for donations of gift certificates and people that want to help support this cause.

All proceeds for the benefit will go toward Hope Renee Curry missing 11/11/2000 Billboard and Vigil. I will post the flyer on the next post but if you know of any business that is willing to donate please contact me.

I dont know Hope. I have friends that know her. I just found out that she is missing. And that bothers me. I am from the same exact area that she went missing and I never knew. I pray that she is found and found safe. My Mother still lived in that area as well and Im not to sure this was big news when she went missing. Which also bothers me. I started on this website because of a missing persons case in the area that I now live. I wish I could make it home for the next vigil. But if I am ever home and there is something her friends or family needs I will be there. I have reached out to a friend of Hope's to let her know some of the things Im saying now.

This is a very busy area and always has been. Someone somewhere knows something. I pray that it harps on their soul until they decide to do the right thing. Her Mother, brother, family and best friend/s need answers.

I will join in prayer on the day of the vigil if I cant make it home for it.

I shared a flyer on my Facebook for my friends that are still in the area to see. But I dont live in the area anymore and I have a child that is in school. I will join in prayer on Sunday though at the time that they do. With candles burning for Hope.

The Kristen Foundation also mentioned buttons that can be purchased from ButtonsofHope.com. I saw the thing about the buttons on Kristen Modefferi's page. They have them at $5 each with $1 each going to Kristen foundation. It says that if you order more than 20 buttons, you get a discount. Maybe someone could get the same thing going for Hope. The buttons have a photo of Kristen on them.

Virginia Beach may be a busy area, but, I hate to say it, the boardwalk down there has a rather nasty reputation. When we talked about taking our kids there to the Beach for a week, several people talked us out of it. I know someone that lives down there, they've been there for probably over 20 years. They like it and haven't had any problems there.
But looking at the photo of Hope, she's an attractive young woman. It's easy to picture someone just taking her off the street. I'm sorry, I guess I just have too many abduction cases in my head.
