But... my point.. was that if the neighbour was quoted as saying he immediately recognized the truck in the photo because it was missing its mirror and DG's was also missing its mirror, and LE released only this one picture (in different sizes/croppings/resolutions/whatever, it still only appears to be just one single photo), and this one photo only shows the driver's side, and the driver's side does not appear to be missing its mirror in the picture, then what is that really saying? To me, it is like saying the exact opposite of a positive ID of DG's truck.

It looks like the issued shorty pie shaped mirror with chrome,, never could understand the missing mirror thing. maybe it's the passenger side that's missing it? I wonder if you can see the mirrors on google maps?

I call dibbs on Sam's voice in everyone's head if Stan doesn't want it... so dreamy...

Absolutely! It's yours...lol...but you gotta stop with the 'dreamy' stuff...Sam is rugged...Ram Tough (and drinks Coors Light...he should be drinking straight whiskey shots) so...that's what you'll have to do...straight whiskey shots then!!

I thought your's might be more like "Remington Steel"....smooth, sophisticated

OMG! Too funny! We have Lois as Elsbeth and you as Sam... I don't even want to think of what voice everyone hears for me. As long as it's NOT Nancy Grace, I'm good. [emoji13]

Well you said as long as it's not Nancy.....2 of my faves!

considering the moustache and his job, I think it's safe to say he probably wears a leopard print men's styled G-string from Fredericks of Hollywood.

I can't believe he didn't get an Oscar for his work in ghost rider with Nicholas cage as the disgruntled cemetery worker and keeper of the contract with the devil. i'll give him a nod though (no facetiousness) for "Off the map" and "Thank you for smoking".

You what???!!! OMG! Lmao! :floorlaugh: Oh goodness Stan! Well, I have to admit that I've often wondered why people get in their cars and pick their probiscuses....usually in rush hour traffic so you have no choice but to watch...yechhh...do they seriously think no one can see them? Another thing that is very popular up in Edmonton is the old "snot rocket", pardon the expression...makes me just about puke...yup, it does it every single time. I've also seen the hands in the pocket thing...they're all jiggling their change (I think), reminding themselves how rich they are.

So, there you sit, at your favorite parking spot before work in the morning, with your coffee and your smoke around a couple of horses....picking your nose...I DOUBT IT!!! lol

And, if it's true...at least I'll know who you are when I come down to Calgary next...no handshake required. lol

I'm picking my nose as I type this, seriously,,, the last one was like a dry autumn leaf attached to a wet elastic band.

news.talk, how about you can be Bill Kurtis from the old A&E show American Justice? Not sure you've ever watched it, he had such a distinctive voice, very news talky ;) I think he does the odd commercial voice over too, just like Sam!

Agreed. The only way it fits is if the "mirror" in the picture is just a coincidental discoloration.

I will try to approach this as delicately as I possibly can. Give me some time.

No worries, and no rush. If you aren't comfortable you can always PM me if you wish, again no pressure :)

BTW: love your new pic ElsbethLane!

Ohhhhh....hmmmm....that sounds like a classic 'SR'!
You know, saline works wonders for that dry nose thing...lol
One must be careful not to give themselves a bleeding nose at such times...most uncomfortable.

Lol...you're too funny!

Right? And I thought NewsTalk was a gal. I had been thinking a Betty Bacall type voice for NewsTalk.

I would imagine KR and his team would do that, it's due diligence. What else do you think Defense lawyers do? They formulate scenarios, they find witnesses to discredit the evidence and to provide alibis for their clients....

And here I thought that they argued law.

Thank you for stepping in and saying that in your very eloquent, matter-of-fact way Stan! My sentiments exactly! :takeabow:
(I could see you as having that Sam Elliott, lazy drawl). :)

It is interesting that there are drug problems in Fort McMurray.
