I am starting to wonder if perhaps there was an altercation in the driveway prior to June 29th. And that blood was cleaned-up. Maybe something happened and the parents kept it under wraps so as not to focus on it.

This seems extremely likely IMO. A recent altercation somewhere would reignite old wounds and anger, which could've intensified and built up to this. I feel like this could've happened.

How much 'prior', were you thinking?

Yes Cherchri, please come visit and post more! :)

I've managed to stay out of the hardcore 'debates' somehow on here, I hope it stays that way as I think a lot of posters were scared off when things got too heated on here, which is really unfortunate as we're missing fresh perspectives, outlooks, ideas and theories. Hope you join us again soon.
Not scared. Just seen it on threads more than I care to admit. Does tend to happen when there is no news in big cases.

Is there any sleuthing going on? Is there anything you folks need help with in researching or otherwise?

Anyone find any online usernames or email addresses for the 🤬🤬🤬?

I am thinking the weekend before and leading up to the Saturday. I wonder if they had any gatherings. Did anyone stay or visit or meet at the L. home or maybe the parents were away close to that time and someone else stayed at the house. Just curious about the events leading up to the final countdown of the move, besides the estate sale.

I sleuth everyday and have found a few interesting connections etc., we have quite a few regular posters that are still looking and brainstorming everyday. We have devoted a lot of time to this. I would like to have more time to print off threads, read them on paper, highlight some key points, connect the theories etc. Although we have times where we have to defend our ideas and comments I can find value in the rationalizing and points to be considered. There are instances when it can get carried away but it passes and we move on. It is a pretty amazing forum compared to the others related to this case.

The car was in the garage when photos were taken of officers in the garage. The truck was parked on the parking pad, the car was in the garage. A few days after the truck was found parked on the driveway at 123 38A Avenue SW Calgary, it was taken away for forensic analysis. I would assume that the car was also taken for analysis, especially if it looked like the garage door was used during the murders.
I'm talking about the night of the event. were both vehicles originally in the driveway and then one moved into the garage to fit another truck?

LOL! Of course not, cause if I was calling you guys stale, I'd be calling myself stale as I'm on here just as much as you guys haha!

There's just always something, someone hasn't thought off, kinda like having 'fresh eyes' is all I mean :)

Wondergirl, good to see you!! :) I was just cruising the first thread and noticed your posts and re-posted one of your pics the other day. I was wondering 'what the heck happened to Wondergirl? She was a good sleuther!' and now...here you are again, awesome!

Man, if I had time and space I'd love to do up one of those big cork boards with thumb tacks with all the info of maps, photographs of who's who, locations, everything on hard copy and posted up, etc.

I guess kinda how you see in the movies, but it would seriously help looking at everything as a whole and have a visual right there in front of you. Now I can see why it's probably used if it actually is by LE, I think your mind would just open up with more ideas.

Very interesting. Did you read the first quote underneath? Lol...never heard it put quite that way. :giggle:

Seems like a strange situation to be driving around your ex while he sources out means of money. I will assume they weren't checking his balances at various banks and possibly collecting debts or asking for advances or some other source of payment.

I know right! I have cleaned my home office and that cork board holds a few pieces. It is starting to look a little suspect. I am always tucking files away and my computer would scare anyone who tries to use it. I am ready to pin the walls but just need more hours in the day.

On a side note I made a delicious feast for 8 tonight, it was a refreshing way to clear my head.

if you were driving your ex around so he could find you money, why would you drive all the way from Kelowna to your parents in Calgary then continue to Okotoks to do this? besides, he said he was looking for money to collect on her crime debts. sketchy people but not the sketchiest we've discovered.

Maybe they had something they were delivering from Kelowna and the sale fell through.

I am lost with your last part... Her crime debts? Interesting. I see a whole lot of sketchy that is for certain. Certain avenues of business must be related to some degree. Some get caught, some don't. Some take the heat, some are protected.

when writing by pen as opposed tapping a keyboard, different parts of our brain are stimulated,, might explain why detectives of past were more up on their game. there's a few good books on intuition and more neurosciency stuff.. for a good series of essays on intuition/gut instinct, Malcolm gladwells book "blink" is a good read, though he opened with a poor choice of subject to launch, though it does pull a chord thru it all quite well. the other two books are the phantom brain essays by ramchadran from u of san diego and then of course "thinking with the left side of the brain" a standard in art theory.

it's good to turn off the net to get good and lucid.

My father and I were just discussing 'Outliers'! He has a few of Malcom's books that he is going to pass on to me. I have always been a writer type, I process and feel way more efficiently with book in hand and a pen and paper. My husband just brought me home an old typewriter the other day, those are great fun!

it was an msm report where fc said he was trying to go clean and shot el as he was at wits ends collecting on her growing crime debts. which is odd as his final defense was that the gun went off when he grabbed his bag and it discharged when it hit the ground. the people he held at gunpoint after taking off dropped charges.

LL, if your cork board project gets big and elaborate you must post a photo of it for the rest of us sleuthers to see, that would be so cool!!

A feast for 8?! Excellent job! I'm turkey-ed out, two days in a row and for leftovers for lunch tomorrow at work, call me stuffed! ;)
