I remember Barrie Police stating she could have been trafficked, and admitting in another article that Barrie was a hub for this crime, was there a task force ever formed to investigate those claims/rumours??
I remember friends said she had met the person last photographed with, at an organization called "I'm a friendly man", apparently 1.5 weeks prior. It was an organization to assist with First Nations men coming back into society from prison etc. I do know for a fact there is a group that meets released prisoners to assist with clothes, food etc upon release, I think near Barrie bus station, but dont' know if this is the same group. Apparently they have a women's group also. I wonder if Autumn was part of that, or volunteered there?
I also wonder how many times LE interviewed that man? I have heard his name pandered about, but can't confirm if true, so haven't posted.
I think Barrie police chief (Greenham??) assisted with a program for the Indigenous women that have gone missing. Just found it
Project Safe. Not much on web site, wonder if its still active?
Apparently a group "Indigenous-led company ISN Maskwa" has assisted the family in the search along with a private investigator. I wonder if they could help the parents of the missing kids in Nova Scotia?
