CANADA Canada - Autumn Shaganash, 26, hasn't been seen since she left a friend's house, Barrie, Ontario, 9 June '23 *Call 911*

Is this Autumn? Was she hiding all this time, or forcibly confined? It would be wonderful if she could/would contact her family. Personally I don’t think this is her. North Bay isn’t that far from Barrie. Surely someone would have seen her this last year??? New lead emerges one year after Barrie woman's disappearance

"Every day I think about Autumn and where she could be. It's not easy. Mentally, physically, it takes a toll on your whole body," Moore said.

"Either she's still with us today or she's not. Something bad happened with Autumn and no one knows what happened. We are still looking for answers today."

Now, more than a year on, Barrie police say Shaganash may have been spotted in North Bay in June.

"The sighting showed a woman wearing a black or dark-coloured track suit with the hood pulled up, and a possible white emblem on the lower leg of the pants," police said in the email, adding they continue to check CCTV footage in the area.

Dark track suit with a hoodie is the "go to" dress for everyone these days. Not much to go on and I would guess she isnt' still wearing the same track pants/hoodie and sandals she was a year ago. Surely there must be some other description for someone to think they saw her in particular? Hope family have sent their private investigative team to North Bay. Someone please call Crime Stoppers with ideas/thoughts/leads. Help Autumn and her family out.

Another few weeks and it will be two years now, and still nothing. Keep her name out there!

''Autumn Shaganash, 26 at the time she went missing, was last seen walking in Sunnidale Park on June 10, 2023 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. She was wearing tan-coloured leggings, slip-on Puma sandals, a black hoodie and carrying a black and tan Juicy Couture purse. (Submitted by the Moore family)

'We're not going to ever stop looking for you'

Kimberly Moore, Shaganash's cousin, said she hopes that Autumn is still alive and that the family still looks for her today.

"I know if she was here and if she could say something, she would be telling us, 'Don't stop looking for me. Don't stop advocating for me,'" she said.

"Autumn, if you do hear this somehow or see this somehow, we're not going to ever stop looking for you."

I remember Barrie Police stating she could have been trafficked, and admitting in another article that Barrie was a hub for this crime, was there a task force ever formed to investigate those claims/rumours??

I remember friends said she had met the person last photographed with, at an organization called "I'm a friendly man", apparently 1.5 weeks prior. It was an organization to assist with First Nations men coming back into society from prison etc. I do know for a fact there is a group that meets released prisoners to assist with clothes, food etc upon release, I think near Barrie bus station, but dont' know if this is the same group. Apparently they have a women's group also. I wonder if Autumn was part of that, or volunteered there?
I also wonder how many times LE interviewed that man? I have heard his name pandered about, but can't confirm if true, so haven't posted.

I think Barrie police chief (Greenham??) assisted with a program for the Indigenous women that have gone missing. Just found it Project Safe. Not much on web site, wonder if its still active?

Apparently a group "Indigenous-led company ISN Maskwa" has assisted the family in the search along with a private investigator. I wonder if they could help the parents of the missing kids in Nova Scotia?

What is happening at Anne And Victoria St Barrie? Why did LE bring forensics down for a homeless encampment? And why has scene in Huntsville not been released? Nine days held by LE?? Could there be bodies? Could it be Autumn? Started with OPP notifying Barrie PD re wanted ma who was arrested. But to hold a scene for nine days??

I wonder if the backhoe in Barrie was to remove homeless shelters, belongings etc or was it to dig?? And why is it related to the scene in Huntsville, which has been cordoned off for nine days? I wonder if it's a large crime scene?

''Detectives from the Barrie Police Service Major Crime Unit, as well as additional resources from Investigative Services, are still present at both the Barrie and Huntsville sites.

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, 52-year-old Robert Ladouceur, the primary suspect in this investigation, was arrested in Midland and remains in custody.''

Definitely all this manpower and work is not for drugs. I wondered if the Barrie site was because Council wanted the homeless moved, and the homeless have stated as much, but I think it's more, and must involve this Robert man. Could it be a "serial event"... I always said The Landscaper had an accomplice, but truly hope they can bring Autumn home to her family and give the sister closure, same with Elnaz.

Interesting this man was wanted in an investigation of the encampment, I wonder what was going on in that camp, and why was he armed, and how have they been able to stave off bail this long??

This fenced off area in Barrie isn’t far from Sunnidale Park where Autumn went missing .there is a small pond there and on old goggle maps reveals evidence of an encampment. Would she have gone there that night with a friend, or alone? Or could she have been taken there against her will. Is she still there?
