Sometimes just the presence of someone's parked car outside of one's house indicates their presence there.
HS's car was parked outside since the evening of Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Wouldn't this have aroused suspicions that she was somewhere in the house at home to anyone who came by or saw it afterward? Thus, the pool may have more significance and symbolism to the killer than just a remote place to hide the dead bodies.
Good point. The housekeeper and 'gardener' who showed up on Friday morning I believe had a regular weekly schedule. I believe their concern and/or curiosity about where the owners were upon their arrival would have been piqued had B's vehicle also been in the driveway. Instead they only saw H's car, so perhaps it was easy for them to jump to the conclusion that they'd left a bit early for their trip to FL, and didn't read too much into their absence?

But if the goal was to put the bodies in the place where it would take the longest to discover, why not the garage? And wouldn't the garage have been simpler, without having to manoeuvre around the pool, walls, railings? So why NOT the garage?

If the bodies had been left in the garage, how long would it have taken to be noticed? Would the realtor have shown the inside of the garage to the prospective buyers? Would the cleaning person ever go to the garage to sweep or whatever? Did the furnace repairman go into the garage? How long would it have taken withOUT the realtors happening upon the bodies, for the bodies to have been found? What if the realty showing had been cancelled last minute by the buyers? How long would it have taken for friends and family and service personnel to start contacting one another, realizing something wasn't right, causing them to search for them?

I know I have said it before.. but in my conspiracy theory mind, I feel like that TV show CBC did with the 'lookalike' B&H and the similar vehicles, were doing more than we will know (at least until there is ever a trial). I'm not sure what exactly, .... to see what can be seen from the neighbouring homes? To see what would be recorded from neighbouring security cams? To check which cellphone tower a phone will ping off of at various areas of driving home from Apo? I just can't see CBC doing it just for viewer pleasure, at the time when cops were still swarming the place and ... I would guess it may have been kind of in the way, with cams and extra people and curious bystanders etc. Why not wait til LE is finished climbing on the roof and etc? Were they trying to see if a cam would catch a person hiding in the back seat? Or how well a neighbouring cam could actually tell if it was B who was driving his car home that night? jmo.
Plausible that the CBC would work with the TPS, however I do not think the TPS would enlist the aid of a media broadcaster for help in this way. I think the TPS would be very wary of the CBC having insight or access to confidential police info. IMO

They would indeed be wary, but... to lend their cooperation does not mean TPS would've had to share confidential findings with them, or reasoning for wanting said footage, etc?

imo, speculation, fwiw..
Surely there are easier places to put the bodies, it is hard to imagine the killer choosing to go down all those narrow hallways with two fairly heavy people, unless they were each marched to the final horror by the pool.

Could there be other subconscious/moral/religious reasons for placing them in the 'most remote' room in the house, if concealment or delay of discovery is the goal, why not put the bodies into the pool and pull the pool cover over them, or leave them in the garage?

If there was staging and fingerprints wiped away, the murder ligatures (presumably) removed from the house, and possibly ''tidying'' of the victims, ie. adjusting BS' glasses and HS' slip-on shoes... But why leave drag marks and blood on the wall?

How confident they must have been to know where to go in that basement labyrinth and where and what button to push to open the door to the pool?

'' The Sherman bodies are located in a corner of the swimming pool room (the far right corner of the house if you are looking from the street).''

''The location of the bodies is the most remote part of the Sherman house, and the pool was rarely used — the water was green, the pool cover was on, and the room had not been cleaned for three weeks. My speculation is that this area was chosen so that it would be a considerable amount of time before they were discovered.''

''There is one door into the swimming pool room. It is at the other end of the room from where the bodies were located. To get into that room you have to walk down a long hallway from the front of the house, and unlock the glass door by pressing a red button (placed there for child safety reasons as part of the municipal building code) that is high on a corridor wall.''

'' On the pool railing near where Honey’s belt is tied there is a small smear of blood. There is also a smear of blood on the breast of a blue vest she is wearing. The information I have seen does not say whose blood it is.''

'' There is a mark on one cheek, but it is minor. There is blood on her face, but it appears to have come from her nose as a result of the strangulation that killed her''

''Chiasson also took note of a thin line underneath where the belts were wrapped around the Shermans’ necks, indicating to him that they were killed with a thin ligature — the belts were merely used to hold the bodies up afterward. This indicates the Shermans were killed prior to the belts being attached to their necks. No thin ligatures were found at the crime scene.''
I've forgotten, who it was exactly, but one buyer didn't have interest in the pool and pool area, what I found odd. Was it the buyer, who had the last visit? That is a strange coincidence: the pool area wasn't cleaned (for 3 weeks) AND the buyer had no interest in the pool.

Was that belt always on the sheep or was it sporadic? I mean, was the statue just a place on which one might place things in general? Like many of us hang things on a bannister. OR, was the belt part of the sculpture? It’s hard for me to see in the attached image. Thanks.

Also, the statue is wearing a gold dress very much the same colour as we’ve seen H wear.

My photo software is acting up right now, but when I blow it up, it looks like that 'belt' is a 'rope' which is made of metal, imho. Very much a part of the piece of art.

Same...I blew it up on my end and it is a rope made of metal and is part of the sculpture.

Thank you all. And what is on the statue’s shoulder? That also looks like a belt while the thinner thing attached to the lamb looks more like a leash/harness. She (the statue ) seems to be leading the lamb to slaughter OR leading it to safety.

Hard to tell for absolute sure, but to me, it looks like shadows are on the woman's back, then the thin thing below that, is probably her left arm (made of same metal as the other skinny arm). It looks like she has some kind of wire or something wrapped around her waste, which looks like it might also be attached to the stair big steel thingy, to keep it upright, in the event it tipped over, a safety precaution. The thing that appears to be on her front 'collar' area.. to me, looks like it could possibly be part of her dress, but because we can't see the front, it's hard to tell. Then.. there is that thing .. it almost looks like an angel wing to me.. but I think it is supposed to be the woman's hair kind of flowing behind her (also made of metal) as she walks.

No idea of course, because I don't think this statue has ever been written about, but my guess is that it's just a decor piece of art that Honey has had 'forever', maybe she had an interior decorator helping her with her decor long ago? To me, both of, or all three of the statues, don't really have any meaning in all of this, they are just part of their home. But who knows? jmo.

I agree .Maybe Mary felt the same .
Maybe, I can't follow the thought. Who could be Judas: BS or HS? Or MS (although alive)?

Does everyone here have a copy of the book "The Billionaire Murders" by Kevin Donovan?

I do not, hence I seem so out of it most times.

I don't have the book, but I have been following this case very closely since the day it happened.
