Just wanted to point out that quite a few people here guessed correctly that both pathologists had the same findings regarding marks on the hands/wrists.

That's what I think, too. The suicide rate for the personality type I imagine BS to belong to is very rare, unless they are experiencing a period of major loss of power and control with no foreseeable means of regaining that loss. There are hints/references online for such potential loss so I wouldnt be surprised if TPS declared this case a murder-suicide.If the scene is being released then I think it means that there is no double homicide in this case. JMO
It doesn't. They've held the crime scene for 6 weeks gathering evidence. An investigation still goes on well past the release of a crime scene.Come to think of it however, a release just means that the investigators are finished investigating and they are releasing the scene. How does that indicate that it was or wasn't a suicide? We don't even know yet. JMO

We'll just have to wait and see what the update is in 30 minutes.

You got it. No need to apologize!Sorry I should have rephrased that:
I realize the investigation still goes on long after the crime scene is examined.
I meant to say that when the crime scene is released, it just means they are finished combing through the scene, and will gather to investigate their findings.
Should have elaborated more, sorry.

YEs they are reporting that he resigned today to pursue new opportunities and will be replaced by vice chairman Jack Kay.

Plot twist.
"murder-assisted-suicide" .. the Shermans had many paid staff that could 'assist'Thanks for your input. After learning about the jackets pulled down however, I'm trying to work that out in my head that if it IS a murder suicide (and I felt really strongly about that, and partly still do), how is it possible that both of them ended up that way, and one murdered, and one committed suicide.
Still boggles me.

Quite the odd timing. Plus it is effective immediately "to pursue other opportunities" which sounds like he got the boot for some reason IMO.
My time out ending coincides with the presser. Not a coincidence.
