When Kinsman was missing, she spent her nights awake, worried for her brother. Now she spends her nights awake because she has trouble trusting anyone.

2:29 PM - 04 Feb 2019
She describes her younger brother as a generous and compassionate "champion for the underdog." Says she's left with lots of questions and no answers.

Ryan Flanagan
@flanaganryan

Next statement is on behalf of the family of Selim Esen. "How would anyone with a heart feel if their youngest brother, their son, is murdered in what they thought was one of the safest places in the world?"

He got an urgent message to call Navaratnam shortly before he was killed and had to live with uncertainty for years. "I hope justice will be served," he says at end of brief statement.
