i hope this works; i took everybody's ideas of what the tattoo on his neck is and then used a font change and came up with this. if you google it with Canada attached you get a webpage that can be posted on ws (which i will do in a minute),, but have a look at this and then the tattoo.

Kaloey ok, didn't work. Copy Kaloey and then take it into your word program and change it to French Script.

just typing it onto word and changing script didn't do a thing for me -- sorry -- moo

So, this article can't be correct as I don't see any of JJJ's names in his tattoo…

"He has a name tattooed on the side of his neck written in mostly illegible stylized letters.

http://thechronicleherald.ca/metro/...-murder-of-missing-halifax-woman-catie-miller

The comments regarding his tattoo from that link don't give us much information -- I believe the photo provided upthread was more helpful.

".... “We’re not commenting on the motive.”

''Johnson was a person of interest early in the probe, as detectives canvassed everyone who may have been in contact with Miller, a routine part of any such investigation.

“There were suspicions...I won’t say immediately. I can confirm that Mr. Johnson would have been spoken to early in the investigation.”

'"Halifax Regional Police spokesman Const. Pierre Bourdages didn’t have a timeframe to when things might wrap up at the location on Horseshoe Turn – one of four locations police went to Nov. 26 in relation to their investigation."

http://metronews.ca/news/halifax/12...wrencetown-relating-to-catie-miller-homicide/

police are still at the scene of a home in Lawrencetown and there was time spent, by LE, at another house in Lawrence too from reading the link

No new updates on this and if any search is continuing - it's not been in the news this week as far as I can tell.

Feb 3 is next court date......somehow I think it will be low key.....

there has been no followup in MSM about remains (bad weather for such recovery)
nor anything about the weapons charges and court appearance for one of the accused.

Man charged as accessory in Catie Miller case gets bail

One of three people charged in connection with the murder of Dartmouth mother Catie Miller last summer has been granted bail.

George Edward Hubley, 30, of Sheet Harbour Passage was released on conditions of house arrest Thursday after a bail hearing in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Halifax.

Hubley is accused of being an accessory to murder after the fact and indecently interfering with human remains.

[snip]

All three accused are due back in Dartmouth provincial court Feb. 3. Johnson and MacDonald, who have a child together, remain in custody at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Dartmouth.

"The Crown consented to Hubley’s release on a recognizance with two sureties, April Dingle and Marjorie Fulton, who put up a combined $80,000 in property.

Hubley is not allowed to have contact with his co-accused, Crown witnesses and Miller’s family or go within 50 metres of their residences.

The judge also prohibited Hubley from having weapons and from possessing or consuming alcohol or drugs.''

Suspect the drug and alcohol thing may be a big factor in this whole sad case? MOO
There's the mention of weapons in conditions as well -- again we don't know the outcome of the numerous firearms offenses that he was facing at the time of his arrest on a totally separate matter. He was to have appeared in Dartmouth court.
Feb 3 isn't that far away......

Thanks for finding this article

Halifax Regional Police confirm human remains found at a crime scene in November are those of Catie Miller.
Investigators discovered the remains at one of four sites connected to the Catie Miller murder investigation on Nov. 26, but the remains were not positively identified by a medical examiner until Wednesday.
Police say the location of Miller’s remains will not be released at this time as court proceedings are ongoing.

RIP Catie.

from your link:

http://thechronicleherald.ca/metro/1267036-catie-miller’s-alleged-killers-appear-in-court

"Johnson and MacDonald were brought into Dartmouth provincial court separately.

Judge Frank Hoskins ordered them to return to court March 11. Their lawyers hope to know by then whether they will want a preliminary inquiry on the charges.

The pair will remain in custody at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Dartmouth"

now here's the part that raises some questions for me.....this guy has obviously had delays in the weapons charges ((upthread there were dates he was supposed to attend court and we didn't hear a peep--must have a great lawyer and a sympathetic judge MOO))

from your link:

"George Edward Hubley, 30, of Sheet Harbour Passage is charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact and interfering with the remains. He was granted bail Jan. 22.

Lawyer Brian Church appeared in court Tuesday on behalf of Hubley, who wasn’t present.

Hubley’s charges will be back in court March 4 for the purpose of setting dates for a preliminary hearing.

All three lawyers told the court they are awaiting further disclosure of the evidence against their clients.

Hubley also faces charges from an incident in Sheet Harbour Passage last February, including causing unnecessary pain and suffering to an animal, six counts of unsafe storage of a gun, six counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm and one count of possession of a prohibited firearm.

Those charges were dealt with in a separate courtroom Tuesday and are due back in court next week."

so it looks like his weapons charges were handled in a separate courtroom today ((Tuesday)) and nothing is in print about the outcome and/or the outcome is next week?

why is it so hard to find anything on the outcome of Hubley's prohibited weapons charges?

  • #198
"Kelly Amanda MacDonald, 33, and Jason James Johnson, 29, both of Lawrencetown, N.S. are charged with first-degree murder and indecently interfering with a dead human body.

They made a brief appearance at Dartmouth provincial court Wednesday morning but the judge denied their lawyers’ request for a 30-day psychiatric assessment until a medical opinion could be provided.''

From last month:

http://thechronicleherald.ca/metro/1295349-preliminary-set-in-catie-miller-murder-case

Jason James Johnson, 29, of Halifax and Kelly Amanda MacDonald, 34, of Lawrencetown face charges of first-degree murder and interfering with human remains.

They appeared in Dartmouth provincial court this week to set dates for a preliminary inquiry, which will decide if there is enough evidence to go to trial.

Judge Dan MacRury scheduled the hearing to begin Oct. 16 and sit for four of the next five Fridays.
