Very interesting, especially given those TikTok posts. I wonder if they are waiting for additional federal charges before requesting one... or if there will be a request for such evaluation forthcoming soon. Either way, I really do hope someone evaluates her because something is up with her mental health
What sort of federal charges are there?

To clarify, all criminal charges in Canada are federal - so the previous poster is probably referencing the fact that they don't have sufficient evidence to charge her with murder or manslaughter yet. But those charges are likely coming, in addition to the child abandonment charge (which they had sufficient evidence of, at this point in time).

yes, authorities have already indicated these are just the charges for now but there may be others added depending on where their investigation takes them (body for instance)

Do we know anything about the last sighting? I saw something yesterday that I can't find in MSM today and I'm wondering if it was just a rumor or if it was in one of the police videos or something.

we know nothing except it was in the area of her home and that it is said to have been at 9:45 am Sunday morning.

There may be nothing wrong with her mental health beyond being upset about broken relationships and single parenting. Leaving the apartment through a fire exit where there is no CCTV, and leaving digital devices at home, sounds rather planned - especially since she took the dog with her. The dog would make the child feel more comfortable, but I bet the dog was normally left at home when they went out.

Running into a business and claiming that she misplaced her child may be staging/feigning to avoid prosecution.
Entirely possible, though to me it does seem unlikely she is mentally well given posts like this (talking about "jumping into somebody's mind on a rescue mission) and this (go to 3:45 seconds in where she talks about an "investigation of reality" etc. - you will notice this is a very hard to follow tangential video). These videos (imo) go well beyond simply being upset about relationships ending and being a single parent. She also frequently will come to these sudden "realizations" or "tricks" or will feel like she has made a breakthrough every couple days (like here, here 40 seconds in, here). In these videos alone, she shows clear referential delusions (i.e., belief that certain gestures, comments, environmental cues, and so forth are directed at oneself), grandiose delusions (e.g., believing she has special abilities from just being "open"), and very clear disorganized thinking, specifically loose associations and tangentiality (switching from one topic to another or answering things in a way that is only obliquely related to the topic, generally being hard to follow ["saying a lot but not really saying anything at all"). These are hallmark symptoms of a psychotic disorder. Not diagnosing or anything, but there are so many videos on her TikTok that it makes it hard to believe she was not experiencing at least some kind of delusion for me, personally. We will see what happens, though, anything is possible!

Apologies for the confusion, Moo's Clues is correct, I was implying that she may have more serious charges coming her way depending on what happens with their searches...

Local Saint-Lazare resident here. And receive updates on my facebook page from vaudreuil/les cedres/coteux and all of the monteregie region. They are now asking if anyone has a company or work close to the highway and the streets off the highway to check their cameras. at about 3pm

They also say the little girl is very timid and quiet. I can upload a screenshot

It's odd that she was searching for funeral urns for a child and then oops, she misplaced her child and she's too mentally ill to remember how that happened. It looks like a long-game staged mental health crisis to get rid of her daughter.

"During her questioning by police Monday, Todd didn't seem lucid and made confused remarks which complicates the work of investigators, according to Radio-Canada's sources.

Their sources also say an analysis of Todd's phone revealed searches for children's funeral urns, as was first reported by the Journal de Montréal Tuesday."

'The woman posted a TikTok video hours before reporting Claire’s disappearance. Rachel Todd, who is in her 30s, is seen in the short clip, posted on Sunday, holding the young girl. “You try that again and this is going to get ugly,” she says, looking into the camera. The video is captioned: “Have you ever faced a mother who has nothing left to lose?”
Oh man, her voice. She sounds serious. Is this supposed to be towards the ex?

I noted her hashtags on this post (added spaces): # motherhood # threat # energywork # narcissist # magic

Is she saying her ex is a narc and someone threatening her?

What a beautiful sweet little girl, ugh :(

I don’t think anyone was talking specifically about taking the child from RT. However, a call to Children’s Services would have been appropriate if people thought she had mental health issues, which might affect her parenting. Children’s Services use the least invasive measures when intervening, and perhaps RT could have been referred to an appropriate agency for an assessment and support. Or if necessary, have the child removed temporarily.
Hypothetical thinking... I am wondering is someone mentioned to her or threatened her about calling child services and that's what the post is about? An ex, colleague or neighbor even.

Maybe someone did voice their concern about her behaviour to her and she got more angry about being threatened or her daughter possibly taken away. JMO MOO

Did she supervise minors at the restaurant? Is it possible someone did report her to CAS and it affected her job and that's why she left?

Map of current search areas in the neighbourhood.

The post from "urgences Vaudreuil- Soulange & beauharnois-Salaberry reads as follows

"At the request of the Surete du Quebec, The club Quad 3 lacs closed tracks to help police officers in their work.
"Several quadists from the monteregie region showed up on mountain bikes to help.
The reality is that they could harm the ongoing police operation " an official told us.

The search continues in the MRC of Vaudreuil - Soulanges on food, in quads, by helicopter and on horsebackin order to find alive the young claire bell ( this was translated to english)

I suspect her defense attorney will be requesting an evaluation soon enough. No need for authorities to request one. JMO
I wonder if she has a long history of some sort of mental illness and she either went off or changed medication? IDK if this is case, just a thought. She could very well plead insanity or something right? Not saying this is happening, I'm just wondering if this case could go that way? IMO

It's a possibility or anyone who encountered her over the last while. If someone she worked with... not good if she was stewing on that anger for 2 weeks. Then she gets her daughter and is ready to blow?

I am curious what her visitation timeframes were with her daughter? Week on/week off, every few days rotatation, weekends only or biweekly?

The father must be so anguished right now :(

She is described as three feet tall, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white long-sleeve shirt with pink on the collar and grey pants.
Hard to tell. CB looks so small in that vid.

I am hoping for a small miracle...

Awful thing to say (about the dog) - but maybe mom (assuming) raged and took it out on the dog. Then realized what she did and in a state of shock maybe let her daughter out of the car somewhere in fear of what she might do next.

Sad for the dog of course, but would rather one come out alive of this sad story.

I've watched the video a few times ( right in the beginning when mom pull claire towards her) I see pink around the collar and pants could be a light gray. Just MO I could be wrong.

My husband just returned from Golfing and said there are about 10 quads in and around the Mcdonalds in Rigaud off of highway 40. They are going in all the deep ditches off the side of the highway.
