She was spotted in St. Albert by the witness and also spotted on the on ramp in Casselman heading east on the 417 (towards Montreal not Ottawa). So this would presumably be after the St. Albert sighting.

The mother has family ties to North Lancaster.

I am convinced she meandered on the back roads from Quebec to Ontario until she hit the 43 up to St. Albert and then the 417 in Casselman.
The Nation River is also nearby.

I often take the 417 from Montreal to Ottawa and stop to gas up and eat in Casselman. There are a lot of gas stations and stores in the area just off the 417 with possible cameras. Further west is the big Amazon warehouse just off the 417 which must have cameras and further east is a huge truck stop and aérodrome called Herb’s which is just off the 417 and is always busy and must have cameras as well.

Oh I'm sorry -- it wasn't paywalled for me. Police confirm she was found alive. A police drone spotted her along Hwy 417. She was conscious and able to speak and was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Further details to come
