If she has truly been alone these last few days - how on earth?? What has the weather been like in the area - I know there are several members on here that are local.
The weather has been good this week, warm and humid but not too hot, with almost no rain.

Snipped BBM
This is the quote regarding appeared healthy.

“A drone spotted CB by the side of Highway 417 near St. Albert, Ont., just after 3 p.m., according to Quebec provincial police
She was alone but seemed healthy. It was the Ontario Provincial Police who found the girl.’

I just saw a clip on Instagram on my partner's phone of the site where she was found. It seems like it was a farmer's field, still with low vegetation.

It makes sense that she was found by drone, then; there was little growth to hide her, but enough she could hit casually be spotted from the roadside.

Makes you wonder what someone said upthread - too much attention, so whoever had her just put her out somewhere she could be easily found?

This little girl's hair looks clean with big soft curls. If she had been outside all of this time, I would expect that it would be quite matted and frizzy. If I had to guess - I think she might have arrived somewhere - dirty clothes. When the woman who lived on a farm in the apron was being looked for in their proximity, the accomplice got scared, dressed her back in her clothes and dropped her off somewhere where she would be found quickly.

No it’s closer to an hour and a bit from Montreal
St. Albert is more than 90 minutes from La Salle area of Montreal where CB lived.
It is just over an hour from the souvenir shop where mom first reported she was missing.

To get from Casselman to Coteau du lac, the most direct route is highway 417 to the Quebec border and highway 540 (dark blue route) which takes you most directly to the three-way intersection between highways 40, 20 and 30 in Vaudreuil Dorion where the dog was found. (Marked by the ❌)

There are two main ways to get from Casselman to the BEM store. The easier way is the north path (dark blue) but the south path (light blue) is almost the same time.

This creates a massive search area.
Thank you @RRA __ for your in-depth help in providing maps and explanations of the area!

The missing girl was found by police in eastern Ontario, about 150 kilometres from her home in Montreal, on Wednesday afternoon. She was found in the St-Albert region after a strange and shifting investigation and large, intensive ground and air search.

As the news broke, some signs pointed to a parental dispute, perhaps designed to coincide with Father’s Day or perhaps fuelled by other concerns and desperation.

any word on the time of the presser? Hoping I get to catch it.

I imagine this little girl has a story to tell. I am hoping she's forthcoming with police.

Will she be secretive or chatty? Was she told to keep a secret?

The areas on the map seem erratic or a bit all over the place where mom drove. We have to remember she didn't have her phone, so did she know this woman in the apron and dropped by for a visit or was it random?

So many questions! Will try to be patient and hope we (the public) get updated.

Police were concerned with what they learned.

The Journal de Montréal reported Todd did not take her cell phone with her when she left, meaning police could not use it to backtrace her movements. She also allegedly left her apartment through an emergency door which was not covered by a surveillance camera.
[snip]
A police search of her cell phone, according to Journal de Montréal, suggested someone used it to search for children’s urns and funeral arrangements. It was heartbreaking news.

I’m going to presume it’s not been said why OPP was using a drone to search hwy 417? They must’ve received some sort of intel in order to look there. Also rather astonishing to think no motorists had stopped to investigate why a 3 year old all alone was on the side of a highway. Or maybe it was suspected it was a robbery set-up in this era of distrust and that’s why LE was alerted instead?

honestly I am shocked she isn't more disheveled. Her little outfit (white shirt light grey pants) looks amazingly clean all things considered. Just miraculous.

Already done.

After they found the dog deceased on the road, I was bracing for a sad ending to this. So glad they found her!

Aw, the little lass looks great. Thanks for posting.
