IMO $240,000 is fair considering how many people he'll be managing and affecting (everyone) and how important it is that he does it right. CEOs of large Ontario non-profits earn more:

Head of Ontario SPCA (in 2017), $265,000
Head of the Canadian Red Cross (in 2017) $321,000

Very sad to hear covid shaming and Revelstoke in the same sentence.
… a little rambling about interesting comments from Revelstoke BC, my BC home …. The trans Canada runs right through Revelstoke and is popular among skiers … particularly heli-skiing …. It’s common to find unknown shoppers in the grocery store. Efforts to address the sustainability of Revelstoke have included how the frequency of avalanche and road closure negatively impact tourism and how tourism brought rising costs in real estate and rental markets .. still feeling a little sour since finding I could not re-buy my Revelstoke home unless I agreed to pay 300,000 $ above previous market price. There is a need for strategies to reduce poverty …. Lots of money for tourism, lost money related to covid … … the leading resort , open for business.

so far they haven't cancelled my husband's cat scan, which I'm thankful for

Surgery and appointment cancellations at University Hospital are likely to continue into January, hospital officials said Friday, as the death toll from the massive COVID-19 outbreak rose to 12.

London Health Sciences Centre officials are hopeful the restrictions they have slapped on the hospital — the most stringent since the spring lockdown — will bring the surging case count of the outbreak under control over the next two weeks. But they are expecting the fallout from the six-unit outbreak to linger into the new year.

I’m in a tourist town on the Bay in Nova Scotia. Real estate sales are hot here. Many from Ontario and a few from the States.

We have a new first case, and the person went all over the place before testing positive.

In June I had to drive a rental car while mine was in the shop. It was a new Jeep. I couldn’t figure why I was getting looks EVERYWHERE , stink eye! I had a mask on.

I went to put shopping in the back and there it was: a Quebec license plate. I hade to make a sign that said it’s a rental—I’m a Nova Scotian.

So the guy who sings the anthems at Vancouver Canuck games made headlines for going to sing at an anti-mask rally. The Sun headline said "Canucks anthem singer to perform at anti-mask rally". Canucks owner responded by firing him on twitter, loved his tweet:

Francesco Aquilini @fr_aquilini

Hey @VancouverSun
change the headline to "Former Canucks anthem singer." #wearamask

My 28 year old nephew had fever on Friday, he had test on Friday, he had less fever but dry raw throat on Saturday, test results tomorrow, mandatory self isolation for 2 weeks after tests. I feel like I dodged a bullet, as I had plans to see him - casual masking with family - on Friday afternoon. Had he been one day later with the fever, I would have had direct exposure ... if he's sick, that is. He might be perfectly healthy with allergy symptoms.

NE Calgary has the highest incidence of infection in the province because the community culture has been to be casual with masks around family and friends. When the Premier of Alberta commended the NE community for their sharing openness, but they had to wear masks, he was called a racist.

Hopefully Calgary and Alberta will be able to handle the hospital overload that is predicted if people aren't more careful. There's talk about field hospitals and triaging which patients receive treatment based on best likely outcomes.

Alberta police are charging the people who are vocal leaders about anti-mask propaganda. Anti-mask and anti-vax seem to be hand in hand, which tells you what you need to know about how anti-maskers are thinking.
