Ellsworth-Clark is described as being six-foot-one, with an athletic build. She was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants, black boots and may have been carrying a black backpack.

Last seen around 4 p.m. Saturday in the area of Sanford Ave. and Cannon St.

Police say she was “distraught” and “in crisis” and not dressed for the weather (heavy rain that day).

‘We’re hopeful, but very worried’: Search for missing Hamilton woman Holly Ellsworth-Clark intensifies

Ellsworth-Clark was reported missing Saturday afternoon and officers began looking for her right away...

The 27-year-old is athletic and was known to run trails, so police have checked nearby trails, including Albion Falls and the rail trail.

...They were going door-to-door and yard-to-yard, looking for any bit of information.

"Our concern is for her safety and our hope is that she simply found shelter locally somewhere and, perhaps, in a disoriented state, is waiting to be found," ...

There is no evidence of criminality, but police and family are concerned for her safety. None of her family live in Hamilton and she doesn't know many people in the city.

According to the admins on the fb page, she does not have her phone with her. Also she often goes running when she's struggling with her emotions.

I just saw on the local news that Holly's family has flown in from Calgary to search for her. Her father has shared some interesting/concerning information, but I can't find a link yet.

We're supposed to go get a fairly substantial dump of snow today and it's been quite cold for the last few days. Holly went missing during a big rainstorm last weekend. This poor girl. If she was on a trail near water, we could be seeing a bad outcome here. We really got a ton of rain and water levels are extremely high.

I watched the interview with her father last night. From what he is describing it almost sounds as if she's dealing with paranoid schizophrenia. Her roommates/friends said she told them she had been running through the woods for a whole night as two men were chasing her. This was the day before she went missing.

If she isn't dressed for the weather, she's not going to make it on the streets in these winter conditions.

I'm wondering if she made her way to Toronto.

MOO

The interview with her father has been posted.

Family and friends continue to search for Holly Elsworth Clarke - CHCH

-Holly's behaviour really changed two days prior to her disappearance.
- Holly spoke to her mother on the Friday and said she had been running in the woods all night from two men. She was so scared that she asked her parents to fly her home to Calgary.
- That Friday night, she broke a large window on the ground floor of where she lives. Her roommates were "understanding" and decided to call 911 on Saturday but then Holly walked out and hasn't been seen since.

A PDF 'fact sheet' has been posted on the official fb page. It says:
Holly has not been “abducted” but she may be involved with some risky people or have been preyed upon in another way.

On the news this morning they are reporting, based on a tip received, that Holly may be in a motel on Sanford Rd. but police cannot enter without probable cause.

Hopefully, as a larger sized woman, she will be able to fight off any potential attackers.

Hmmm, I wondering if somehow she's having a reaction to drugs? If she's somehow mixed up with "risky" people the drug angle could be pertinent. I live just outside of Hamilton. Hamilton has some pretty rough areas and pretty rough people. Drugs are quite prevalent. Has anything been mentioned about mental illness or illness in general?

‘We’re hopeful, but very worried’: Search for missing Hamilton woman Holly Ellsworth-Clark intensifies
''Kate Clark said her sister moved to Hamilton in October with the hope of launching a music career.

She recently suffered some disappointments and, while she usually was in touch with family all the time, she had been more isolated recently, Kate said.

Holly is a wrestler and is very skilled outdoors as the family spent time camping, she said.

Kate said her sister spent time outside to deal with her loneliness, and so the family thinks she may be outside and taking shelter somewhere.''

I feel so sad for Holly and her family. I hope she will be found safe. She sounds like a really cool person.

Dave Clark says his 27-year-old daughter, Holly Ellsworth-Clark, was "very, very terrified" days before she went missing last Saturday.

"She called us and said she had been running from two men and was afraid for her life," the Calgary man told CBC News.

"We didn't know what to think, it sounded preposterous. I said I was coming out to get her and the next day, she disappeared."

His voice broke as he played a "heartbreaking" voicemail left by his daughter, begging her family to buy her a plane ticket back to Calgary.

"I'm not doing so great out here, I would really like you guys to get me home," says a voice that appears to be Ellsworth-Clark.

"I would really, really, really like a plane ticket out of Hamilton to Calgary, please and I would like to come home… I'm missing you so much and I I love you so much, that's all I want in the world," the voice says, shakily.''

The family of Holly Ellsworth-Clark and police showed up at the Budget Inn early Monday morning after reports of her being at the motel. (Google Maps)
''Now, the rest of her family is in Hamilton and organizing public efforts to find her, which have intensified more than a week after her disappearance.

Dozens are joining search parties and many more participating in online groups in efforts to track her down.

''Monday morning, Clark and others staked out the Budget Inn on King Street East after he says tips came in to the family . alleging his daughter was alive, but drugged, in the motel.''

"I want to have some sign of life from her."

Clark says the tips he received indicated his daughter may be a victim of human trafficking, but Hamilton police say the lead investigator of the case has no reason to believe that at this time.''

'We’re lost': Former Calgary woman missing after disappearance in Hamilton

At one point in the days leading up to her disappearance, she broke into her own home through a window. Unbeknownst to her, Ellsworth-Clark’s roommates called 911, worried she was suffering from a mental breakdown and hoping to find her some help.

After collaborating with other musicians in Calgary, she decided to move to Toronto in 2018 to pursue a musical career.

Three months ago, she followed a former band mate to Hamilton, having heard positive things about the city’s music scene.

Holly regularly frequented local music nights and open mic events in town, all the while working remotely for a condo management company in Calgary by phone and email during the day.

So little information has been released from HPS... It's been reported that they've attended at the Budget Inn as part of their investigation ~ a 'tip' led them there, but were unable to search all of the rooms without a warrant. Wouldn't that 'tip' be enough to secure a search warrant?? It sure does appear that Holly is in trouble, whether she's being held against her will, or is having some sort of psychotic break. Either way, I think she needs to be rescued.

Several music videos available on YouTube if you search her name. She's quite talented in her passionate delivery.
