''The family of a man from northern B.C. are desperate for information after not having heard from him since April of 2023.

Justin “Jiggy” Lloyd Joseph is reported missing from the Burns Lake area, where his family believes he was working at times for a Smithers sawmill and a construction company.

Joseph is a 42-year-old First Nations man from Tl’azt’en First Nation (the community is also known as Taché), west of Fort St. James, B.C.''

''The lawyer’s office who Justin Joseph had been working with for a day school claim against the Eugene Joseph Catholic Day School which operated on the reserve from 1963 until 1990, got in touch with the family when they had not been able to reach him.
The law office staff had been unable to get in touch with Justin Joseph since January 2023. They later contacted the family who became increasingly concerned after he had not made it home for an extended period.''

''Justin “Jiggy” Lloyd Joseph is five feet, seven inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.''

''To date, all efforts to locate Justin have been unsuccessful.

Justin has ties to Fort St. James, Burns Lake, and Prince George, and the respective detachments are engaged in efforts to find Justin.

Joseph is described as:
  • Indigenous male
  • 42 years old
  • 5’ 7 (170 cm)
  • 141 lbs (64 kg)
  • Brown eyes
  • Dark brown hair
Many friends and associates have been spoken with and information on possible sightings of Justin has been provided, however, this information has not been confirmed.

If you have any information about Justin Lloyd Joseph, or where he might be, contact the Fort St. James RCMP at 250 996-8269.''

Is his age correct? Because he looks a LOT older than 42!

It's probably from lack of access to resources and/or rough living. I live in an area where heroin and meth have hit HARD and a lot of my former HS classmates look similarly rough (I'm just a few years older than Mr. Joseph is). That stuff can really age a person.

In this article the family are quoted as saying he had a "high-risk lifestyle". Whatever that all might entail, it's likely to have people looking older than you might think. MOO

I hope he turns up. Good wishes to him and his family.
