Are we allowed to link to any of their public online profiles here? or screenshots of them? I found some slightly interesting info

I'm Canadian and I have never heard anyone here refer to a gas station as a gas bar ever. Lol
In First Nations communities the gas stations are called gas bars, most anyways.

Interesting. I've always thought of gas bars as the things in supermarket parking lots with little or no staff and gas stations as gas stations.

I'm struck by how many times they've stopped and have been seen by store clerks, etc. If they've tried to disguise their appearance, their efforts must have been pretty minimal. They just seem very brazen and impulsive.

I seen an article but forget which online site it was the pair had gone into the First Nations community and bought $20 worth of gas and while there asked if they could drink there. They were told they couldn't as it's a dry community, the Split Lake First Nation. I will try and find the article again. But I'm getting "errors" trying to link to some CBC articles on this case/story :(/

Teens considered missing now suspects in 3 B.C. deaths
"Police were able to confirm the suspects’ whereabouts and label them as suspects in both cases after tips from the public following a press conference on Monday. They did not release any additional information about McLeod or Schmegelsky, citing the ongoing nature of the investigations.

“I think it speak to itself the fact that we’ve asked the public to please not approach them,” investigators said, adding they don’t know what type of weapons they might be armed with.

“We don’t know what they may be carrying or even what their thoughts are.”

"Shoihet said the RCMP has been in contact with both teens' families for assistance in finding them.

"I'm certain they're being impacted by this news," she said."

Another burned-out vehicle was found abandoned near Bird, Man., not far from Gillam, Fox Lake Cree Nation Chief Walter Spence said Tuesday night in a statement. It was not clear if this vehicle was linked to McLeod and Schmegelsky in any way."

Questions:
What are the symbols on BS’s Steam profile picture? Any significance with the Russian country reference? Or just a meme within the gaming community?

What language is on the soda cans in KM’s instagram photo? May be nothing - it’s 3 years old. Just curious.

I think they do have an end game. We just don’t know it yet.

I have 2 different scenarios right now.

Only time will tell.

MOO
They will not survive the Manitoba wilderness is my guess. Long hours of driving, exhaustion will soon start to set in.

I read somewhere that they were members of the Communist Party of Canada. Let me see if I can find the news article.

They’ll survive, but they’ll get desperate long before then.

Something big is coming.

If you bean Bryer's profile picture: That symbol appears to be associated with a Ukrainian right-wing movement. I think this link will provide with a translation from the Ukrainian wikipedia article: Google Translate

As an aside, if that is one of the people involved, they spent a lot of time playing Crusader Kings 2 to get some obscure achievements, or faked it.

As far as we know, they may not have a vehicle now, right? The Rav burned up yesterday? Have there been any sightings of them in something else? Obviously, they would find it easy to carjack someone else, but we don’t know that they have yet, right?

True -- I posted that link with text earlier today.

One woman said that Bryer's card didn't work when he went to the deli for butter chicken. Perhaps it wasn't his card.
That was high school, it was probably his. Said he was going back to his locker to get $$ and was a no show. Lady says he still owes her $18+. ;)

IIRC the father said the two played video games where they may’ve learned survival tactics. But that’s a far cry from what’s reported here.. There’s reasons some people avoid speaking to the media — this report from AU is not helpful imo. The father was interviewed prior to his son being declared a suspect.

Baby-faced suspects in Canadian murders ‘trained in war and camouflage in the woods’
“Two lifelong friends wanted over the grisly murders of three people, including an Australian and his American girlfriend, on a lonely Canadian highway had trained intensively in “war and camouflage”, the father of one of the suspects says.”
