Police are asking for the public's help to identify two bodies after a fiery crash between Brockville and Prescott, Ont., early Thursday morning.

It happened on County Road 2, between Blue Church Road and County Road 15, at about 2:30 a.m., and involved one vehicle, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release.

The driver of the vehicle — a Volvo hatchback — lost control while heading east and the ensuing crash engulfed the vehicle in flames, OPP said.

On Tuesday, OPP identified the driver as Scott Lockyer, a 45-year-old man from Augusta Township, near Brockville. The passenger was identified as Adam Hrehirchuk, a 22-year-old man from Winnipeg.

The OPP investigation continues.
