I can't remember, did they find his phone??
I wonder if it would help for them to run tv ads during the ski season for that area?

''An open letter and local, national and international call to action for public help for information on missing Liam Toman at Mont-Tremblant Resort. Liam went missing on Feb. 2, 2025, and the search for new information took on added urgency with the discovery of Liam’s wallet in March 2025, which has since led the Sûreté du Québec to view the case as a matter of criminal activity and issue a release for a significantly hiked reward of $50,000 offered by Sun Youth Organization. “Somebody knows or saw something. Let’s together bring Liam home.”

''5. Talk about it when out and about, and talk with the people you travelled or skied with–a brief comment or forgotten moment might spark a memory. 6. Share Liam’s story and this message so others can do the same - visit Missing: Liam Gabriel Toman. Use your platform: if you have a storefront, a listserve, a newsletter, a show, a stage, a vehicle, a bulletin board, or a platform of any kind, we ask you to help share Liam’s story. No detail is too small! But it is urgent. Please also consider whether you noticed any awkward situations or interactions of a potentially criminal nature and report these details immediately. No matter how small or uncertain a detail, please contact the Sûreté du Québec at 1-800-659-4264. Thank you for looking back and thank you for looking forward. Together, Tremblant, for Liam. With love and hope, Liam’s family.''

Have they gotten his phone logs? Did he text the correct person before or after his dad? (Whoever was meant for the meet me outside text?) Assuming he'd been texting them before saying meet me outside, hopefully the detectives know who that was by now

News link with details of phone activity for Feb 2, 12:am - 3:16am

Continuous Activity: Liam was texting his parents and friends throughout the evening while at the "Le P'tit Caribou" bar.

Last Outgoing Activity: The final activity from Liam’s phone was recorded at approximately 3:16 a.m. "Meet me outside." Text sent by accident to his dad but meant for one of his friends in the hotel.

Last Ping: While Liam’s phone was not used for calls, texts, or social media since 3:16am, one report mentions a final "ping" near his hotel much later that day, around 6:00 p.m. on February 2.

This final ping coincides with the time when one of Liam’s friends contacted his step-brother at 6pm to explain that they had not seen or heard from Liam since 3am.

According to family, the two friends had spent several hours that day trying to locate Liam themselves around the resort village.

After the call, Liam’s family and authorities began the formal missing person process. Police searches, led by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), were initiated shortly thereafter, with extensive ground searches officially beginning on the morning of Monday, February 3.

Liam’s phone has never been recovered in any of the searches (ground, air, or water).

That’s a good idea to run ads.

Any thoughts on why Liam would want one of his friends to "meet me outside" at 3:16 am? There reportedly was a hotel keycard found in his wallet, so it wasn't to let him back in. Seems like this was his last communication, so it is important.

Off the top of my head, two things come to mind regarding the last message, "meet me outside"
There is somebody inside he wants to avoid, or he has met a couple of people, (girls?), who have invited him and a friend to go somewhere else. speculation.

Not much makes sense about those last moments of being seen.

*** All speculation ***

Maybe he just needed to get some belongings from the car before going up to the hotel room.
He may have texted his friend to come meet him then figured he was asleep so walked behind the hotel thinking it would be a shortcut.

Has there been any info about the car he and his friends drove up in or where it was parked? Was it his car or one of the friends?

I can’t find clarification - was the “meet me outside” text sent from in the bar? Or outside the hotel?

The story has been picked up by the DM (good thing, skiers come from everywhere), unfortunately behind a paywall.

''Mystery of handsome skier, 22, who vanished from luxury resort... leaving only one chilling clue in the snow''

''Seven weeks later, a chilling discovery deepened the mystery: his wallet was found in the melting snow, still containing his driver's license, debit card, and hotel access card inside. Several intensive searches of the resort and surrounding rugged terrain last year failed to locate him''

Based on the timeline, if it was sent at 3:16 am it must have been outside the hotel. I can't figure out why he didn't just go in.

On camera it appeared that LT spoke to 2 people outside the hotel and pointed past the hotel and walked through the service area next to hotel.

No one has provided any tips as to where he was headed.

The hope is that someone with info comes forward.
