Sarah MacDonald on Twitter
"@rcmpmb will be updating the public on their search for the murder suspects in two hours."
Laura McQuillan on Twitter
"Manitoba RCMP will give an update on the manhunt for BC homicides suspects Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky at 3pm CT (4pm ET)."

There is no live link set up yet that I have found. Will update closer to the start time if someone else hasn't already.
Super! I will appreciate a link when there is one!

I did see an update on FoxNews this morning and they did have an RCMP officer on ... I really got the impression that they are not sure they are still in Gillam, and asking the public to be on the lookout for them. I have checked the Fox site and the clip hasn't been added, will keep watching for it.

I truly believe LE does not know where they are. If the RCMP KNEW for certain that they were in the Gilam Manitoba area then why would the Ontario Provincial Police issue a public alert?

Have they always announced the press conferences that much in advance? Could be remembering wrong, but I feel like the earlier ones tended to be announced shortly before they started rather than 2 hours in advance. I might be reading too much into that because I'm hoping BS and KM have been found, so locals can breathe a sigh of relief and go back about their lives.

I haven't heard anything about Len being shot. They say he was killed and the two young men are responsible and they've been charged with second-degree murder for his death. But I have not heard any information that he was shot.

Not yet confirmed by Canadian MSM but here it's written in OZ MSM.

Police today confirmed Leonard Dyck was the person gunned down and left on the side of Highway 37 in British Columbia on July 19, four days after Australian man Lucas Fowler, 23, and his American girlfriend Chynna Deese, 24, suffered a similar fate.

Just in case?
Can't figure out how the roof was smashed in??
That's been bugging me too. I cannot figure out how that could have happened.

RCMP investigating photos of B.C. murder suspects, Nazi paraphernalia

Above news article mentions that Churchill, MB is also under alert.

If they managed to hop on a train on July 22, after burning the car, they could be in Churchill. Their port gets occasional supply ships in the summer.

I suggested earlier that RCMP should search all work camps and hydroelectric generation facilities in Gillam area, starting with the camp near Bird Reserve.

If they managed to hop on a Thompson bound train, they could be anywhere!

We need list of all trains passing through Gillam since July 21 afternoon. When I checked on July 22, next passenger train was Aug 1.

CBC News Network confirmed today that VIA Rail is involved in the investigation.

My strong hunch is that Kam or Bryer knows someone who works (or worked) at the gigantic Keeyask hydroelectric project near Gillam.

Their unusual route through Alberta and Saskatchewan suggest that they downloaded and printed some maps, anticipating no access to the Internet.

I can see the camper melting off. Old campers used to be made out of steel and wood but the new ones are mostly fiberglass. That way it's light for people to travel with. They also on the tarp next to it had images of a computer and a sink and what looked like to be a stove or furnace. Also what's really weird is the top of the truck... The roof was caved in. It looks like the truck rolled and caved in the top. However the truck at the burn site is upright. The burning camper wouldn't have crushed the roof because again it's made it a fiberglass and light. Can't figure out how the roof was smashed in??

Looking at the picture of the truck you can see that there is burnt debri on the roof of the truck. It is likely from the camper. If there was a fire inside the truck and a fire on the outside the roof metal probably got red hot. The front part of the camper could have eventually fallen onto the roof pushing down the red hot metal. That's my guess anyway.

I'm also guessing the police swept out the back of the truck placing the burnt debri on the tarp to be strained and that's why it looks so clean in the box.

In what way is VIA Rail involved? Any word on that?

WSers have already been discussing the rail....I always am glad when we hit on the right topics. (Let's overlook the tangents we go on, lol).
