I read that because of their injuries that there's no way that they could have an open casket at their funerals. So whatever that means don't know??
I believe Chynna’s brother said that and iirc it was only with regard to Chynna.

Chynna's brother said Chynna's driver's license was the only ID left at the scene, all other ID, money etc was missing.

That contradicts early reports where police said they finally found her passport hidden in the van.

Just trying to get in their heads. You kill a couple at night on a deserted highway, as well as another man,in order to switch vehicles. Why burn your vehicle? You have no witnesses , all your gear is in your camper. Why switch vehicles at all?Just carry on and blend in the next day with all the other traffic ,in another location. No one would suspect them or have any reason to be looking for them.To take the RAV4 was not necessary and will lead to them being caught sooner.Do I make any sense?
I guess they could have anticipated want what originally happened to stick. They were reported missing, speculated to be dead, perhaps even victims connected to Chynna and Lucas. We all did go there when they first were just missing. If they were not seen later in the RAV4, who knows if they would have been labeled as suspects. Just a thought.

I'm not sure how they were spotted in Saskatchewan, unless LD had been ID'ed sooner than we knew and therefore his car was also issued a bolo/apb.
If they had stayed ahead of that and perhaps even taken another vehicle sooner, they maybe could have stayed out of the limelight of suspicion. Only other things I can come up with is there was a mechanical issue with their own vehicle, or it cost too must to fill up at the tank. ALL JMO

He did describe a small wound in Lucas's side. Subsequently, that interview was clipped. He also described their positions. That was clipped, too. He said they both had one hand under their bodies, they were facing north with their heads pointing west. As previously discussed, Lucas had no shoes and Chynna had one shoe.
Yes that's right I remember that part. in the gray Hughes video ... Gray said that the girl was wearing some kind of pajama clothes. Like black leggings and it looks like they were in their bed sleeping and that's why Lucas didn't have any shoes on and then she got one shoe on and then ????? happened

Lots of people on social media here in Canada upset with the "soft edit" these two are getting from the media. Some of the headlines have described these two as "normal boys," "nice kids" "good, caring," etc...the feeling is that Aboriginal youth who've committed far less serious crimes aren't granted the same type of headlines and also because of the Omar Khadr case.

At any rate, I sort of agree and think that it's the victims who deserve respect from the media, not these evil monsters. I feel for the father of Bryer, I truly do, and I can see he's clearly anguished, but I don't care about whatever Bryer's sob story is either - obviously it's no excuse to go on a murderous rampage.

You mind linking us some of those headlines? The headlines I see mainly refer to them as suspects, murder suspects, teen suspects or fugitives...

Chynna's brother said Chynna's driver's license was the only ID left at the scene, all other ID, money etc was missing.

Please read the early news articles. RCMP had to search the van thoroughly to find her well-hidden passport. The killers took all other ID and any personal stuff with their names. That is why it took so long to name them.

At the top of this thread, on the right hand side of the page in blue letters is "Watch Thread" . Click on that and follow the popup.

Then, tomorrow when you come back, click on "Watched Threads", which is on the bar directly beneath the Websleuths header.

From there you can "Go to first unread", which takes you to your first unread message.

Or there is another way to find where you left off. At the beginning of each thread in your watched list, is a tiny green-blue dot. If you click on the dot, it will take you right to the place where you left off reading.

If this doesn't make sense, perhaps a techno savy person could provide you with screen shots.

BTW, thank you for not saying "marking my spot". That always conjures up an image of a dog peeing on the thread. :/ jmo

Weird. I don't have to click on the dot, I just click on the title of the thread and it takes me to my first unread.

Yeah there was one video where he was quite detailed about things. And then that video was done again but pieces were sliced out.
I also saw a picture of them laying in the ditch beside the van but Chynna & Lucas was abit blurred out and that was from Gray Hughes videos.

The bodies were positioned pretty much the same with their one hand underneath their belly as they were laying face down. And the other hand arm was outstretched. Almost like they were position that way.
What's still I don't understand is why the back window of the van was smashed out from the inside to the outside.

Gray Hughes - is this MSM?

The policy on Websleuths is that the family of suspects/criminals are victims too. Anyone who prefer the opinions on other forums/social media are free to hang out in them, but they have nothing to do with what we post here.

I've followed very closely but may have missed this; did anything ever come to fruition regarding the 'person of interest'? The bearded man from the sketch?

Someone in an earlier thread claimed that person contacted LE and was exonerated but provided no evidence.

I think you're right - it was her passport.
That contradicts early reports where police said they finally found her passport hidden in the van.

A good amount of ones who regularly venture into Grizz or Polar bear country do

Those who must work in remote area and want to carry a gun for safety, have to obtain a specific permit. Others carry bear spray, loud sirens, sticks, etc.

Exactly, but I have not seen any reports related to the injuries to any of the three victims.
Here is a video link from YouTube from Gray Hughes investigations. In this video he shows the photo Etc.

Does anyone know if LE is conducting an aircraft operation utilizing heat sensing equipment for body detection?

We assume RCMP found him, and didn't want the general public to know his name.

i am having issues tracking down the uncut video or new video i'll keep hunting

but i just watched the roadside worker videoe in the gary hughs video and i don't think that is it or at least not the version i watched i think he was standing more to the right in the other video

i just checked 200 links i touched since i got up and its not showing up, which is odd because i got the link from this thread

so until i can find it feel free to say whatever hopefully i can find it soon, i hate when these news sites move their videos around it makes it hard to find things again

I don't remember road worker describing the injuries to the couple during an interview.

He gave some description in a second video interview. He mentioned Lucas had a small wound and the worker sort of twisted around and pointed to his own side area. That said, it may not have been his only wound. We won't know until the authorities say something publicly.

I didn't get the part about him indicating Chynna being shot in the jaw. Will have to find it and look again.
