See SilentSentry’s post #369 and my post #375.

If they can get to Lake of the Woods (at the Manitoba/Ontario border) it is a great spot to hide and maybe cross the US border. You need a canoe, a tent and a fishing rod. The lake is vast, people are friendly. People will wave from passing boats, but won’t recognise you, especially with life jackets and a cap on. You won’t attract much notice if you’re reasonably careful. Also, lots of empty cabins, especially after Labour Day.
I'm new to posting and viewing on websleuths. Maybe I watch too many movies, but couldn't they have got out of Gillam by sneaking into the back of a pick-up truck or delivery truck of some kind. No one would even know they were there or where they travelled to. Just speculating...?

No mention of blood outside van. No clean up. Think it happened in van then they took them out. So maybe they did do staging of bodies.

The witness said that it stood out for him that the bodies were in similar positions. That might be staging, if so, before or after death?

If they had just each received a pay cheque .... I am assuming for a two week period, how much money approx. would that be? A couple grand each?
More like $700 each would be my guess.

They were in Split Lake on Monday July 22. Police arrive July 23.
North Churchill train is on Tuesday, South Winnipeg train is on Thursday.
There are many stops between Gillam and Churchill that they could have hopped on and off while RCMP were checking trains in Churchill and the wetlands of Northern Manitoba..

The train escape scenario, unintended assistance from someone local and even river travel seem to be the most logicial options given that there have been no recent sightings of the 2 suspects IMO. RCMP have announced no actionable info about stolen cars or missing people (even though they exist in the region) to the public so far as I can tell. But I also believe that what people on the thread were saying about ATVs being in barns associated with unoccupied summer houses makes sense so perhaps they found one of these to take them to the RR line?

Its hard to tell from social media exactly when RCMP started checking the trains but they might have just permitted a window that allowed the suspects to escape. We also don't know if the car fire with the RAV4 was set in real time by the suspects or delayed using a modified bomb device with timer. If the 2 suspects set off earlier in the day from when the RAV4 was set on fire then it seems possible that the escape was well under way and many miles were clocked before RCMP knew what was going on. The question I think becomes did the 2 head south or go west?

The Gillam deployment by the RCMP is hard to understand if they don't have any sightings other than those they have given to the public. But as others have said, the RCMP share only the bare minimum so much have had a solid reason for the focus on Gillam.

I was just sitting here thinking about this situation with these young men. And it seems like after the murder of the couple, the young men maybe are leaving a trail. the burnt Vehicles, the security cam footage of them in a couple places ... do they do these things on purpose to leave a "bread crumb" ? Maybe they went into those stores because they knew that there was security footage.
Maybe they're not on the run from the police but rather leading the police somewhere?
Seems to me it's just a giant video game that they're playing?

Maybe they have a couple people along the way helping them out when they need to.?

Just my opinion in this moment. Pondering.... I'm sure it'll change in a few more minutes.

I didn’t mean to put each at the end. I thought maybe 2 grand between them. So, wouldn’t it be logical that they had sufficient funds between them at first?

It would have to be after death or they would still be bleeding out

What is minimum wage in BC, and how many hours a week did they work?
Maybe $1000 was a lot of money for them, maybe $3000 was enough if their parents let them use the camper. Was it Kam's family camper?

I agree...a game playing fantasy imo

Gray Hughes had this in one of his investigative videos. And he specifically pointed out that that van image was really old .... years old. And that the van wasn't even the same van.
He showed the Google image of it and even the year that it was a Google satellite date stamp. I don't remember the date of it cuz it's been awhile since I seen it but it was in one of gray Hughes videos. And it was not the van.

Additional note. Yes it says 2019 Google but that's just Google's copyright year. But the actual satellite image was back years ago.
Thanks. After following the google navigation for miles it was just something that caught my eye. Obviously it has no significance since its an old photo. With it being an older rare van, it was just an odd find. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

I agree with most of what you're saying, but I can see a situation in which, say perhaps, the teens agree to rob the couple, maybe theyve hid their car and walked back in masks. Already dont have to be worried about being ID'd then. perhaps the plan went awry then they flee and the rest of their actions are based on desperation and escape.

perhaps the same scenario but BS intends murder from the get go but only tells KM they will rob then leave and not get caught.

perhaps a similar scenario with one of 1000 variants, theres really no way to know.

Nothing says they "had" to kill the couple. I'm sure you're aware there are quite a few unsolved robberies that happen pretty much... all the time.

They didn't have to kill the victims, they had to ensure that identification of their crimes against the victims was delayed as long as possible.

$13.85 an hour
Dont know hours worked, dont think been reported
Yes KM family's truck

Right they didnt have to kill them, but wanted to prevent identification. So they put a hanky over their face and walk up in silence. In that scenario Id certainly consider a double homicide a "botched robbery"

Until more info comes out, the picture of the two of them planning a grand murder spree weeks or months in advance just doesnt seem to line up with their actions so far.

Really tho all speculation pretty much all around. An educated guess may be worth discussion but still a guess ultimately

yup. seems like they are living out some twisted delusion.

Not sure about minimum wage in BC. In AB, I think it is 15$ an hour. I just goggle the min. wage is 13.85 an hour in BC

What's minimum wage - $16/hr?

16 x 32 = $512 per week
$512 x 5 = $2560 for 5 weeks (minus deductions)

$2216 for 5 weeks minus deductions.
$1600 each?

How many km to the litre did they get with the camper truck?
BC has extraordinarily high gas prices.

Maybe they quickly realized that they didn't even have enough money for rent in Whitehorse to look for a job.

Minimum wage is $13.85 in bc. For some reason I don’t think they were working full time but I could be wrong.

Gamers can be like addicts. The dopamine that is produced during exiting or tense game play becomes addictive. They tend to find the real world and things such as school or spending time with family incredibly boring.
IMO, if they are still alive, as I don’t believe they would have the survivalist skills to survive in what sounds like quite rugged condition, they would be trying to get back to what they know - screens. Watching news about themselves would no doubt be amusing to them.
My bet is they’re hunkered down somewhere - with a homeowner they may have killed or are keeping hostage.

I doubt it. Walmart is notorious for only scheduling part time. Might only be $500ish. My boy works at subway about 40 hours a week and he’s lucky to get $950 a pay check (two paydays a month)

They have that look on their faces as well, one that tries to suggest they aren't doing anything wrong. Walk slowly out the door after "just looking" and strolling the aisles.
The bigger question I have is why in the whole video does Kam Mcleod has his left hand in his pants pocket? Doesn't take it out, walks out with it in his pocket.
