[...]

Her “letter” to her son pleading with him to come home because they loved him was actually meant as a snub to her ex husband in my opinion.

[...]

I got the same thing. He took a dig at her ("he wasn't nurtured," etc) and she took one back.

I am on my way to Chynna’s funeral. She was one of my daughter’s best childhood friends.
Please pray for this grief stricken community.

Welcome to Websleuths! Thank you for the update. Please send our love and condolences to Chynna's family and friends. We're so sorry for their loss and will keep them and Chynna in our prayers.

havnt figured out quotes yet, response to scrappincat post #1342

The way the article was written, it wasnt like he was insulting gamers to unnerve them. Seemed to imply he would engage in low-level doxing to find things to harass other players to quit the game entirely. Thats not the same as finding the opposing team's quarterback's embarrassing nickname. Even in the gaming community thats unusual and folks who pull crap like that will quickly find themselves outcasts, and that seems to have happened from what we've heard form folks who interacted with BS over steam

JMO but RE: Ritalin/Adderall: I honestly don't think this is the impetus behind this spree. Has anyone ever done these? They definitely wouldn't send you into a rage or cause you to blindly commit murder. They might make you spend 6 hours being extremely dedicated to cleaning your living room. If anything, they could have been abused in order to stay awake and alert for such long drives. Perhaps psychosis brought about by going a good amount of time without any sleep.

I’m just wondering how plausible it is that they found an abandoned canoe along Nelson River and were able to “get the hell out of Dodge?”

Agreed, and unless they had a swack of money when they first set out, there is no way they could sustain themselves for too long. Might very well be deceased somewhere in a bush (self-inflicted perhaps).

The father said Bryer texted him on July 12 he told them they were going to Red Deer so he wouldn’t seem him for his bi-weekly visits. He said he assumed it was because they have relatives there (cousins?).

That big truck would have used a lot of money in fuel costs alone for the distances covered.

It appears the army has landed in Gillam from pictures online.

Ralph Goodale’s announcement was that the armed forces would be used to add more air reconnaissance. I don’t think that planes and helicopters will help much for live spotting except along the Nelson River, well-known trails and hydro line routes.

However, these planes can probably be used to make detailed aerial photographs that can be studied and zoomed in on and that might show bodies, alive or dead.

I’m not sufficiently knowledgeable about heat detection to know how useful it would be in these circumstances.

maybe le needs to seek out all the social media associated with these guys.
they used steam and twitch- there must be people who know of them and know of their personalities- Also the dark web- no doubt frequented by them.
LE / media /public opinion has one of them being stupid- faulty-
But, in reality they are probably winning their game- their egos must be so full.
They will mess up- maybe their egos will make them step out and make a mistake.
they will want to be known as smart- vs dum

there has been a lot of discussion over the BURNED cars just being a setup for false positioning.
I tend to agree- I think the burning of the vehicles were just a ruse to throw le off the true trail.
However, I suspect their game of throwing le off the track does not stop there.
I think they set up the entire store video-
1. eg- young kids know of cameras everywhere- so they knew the cameras would pick them up-
2. I think they did this prior to changing their appearance
3. I think they wore outfits to be noticeable.
4. I believe that the entire store event was just a setup to throw le off the true trail.
5. I believe the guys knew that it will be that video that the public will see.
6. they did it with planned tactics of it being false.
7. they most likely changed their appearance after but held off doing so till the had this video made on the store cameras
I believe they are long gone from manitoba- i feel they have a friend who met them to help- a friend who is like them- who wouldnt care what they had done
a brother in arms- a lover of nazi etc
this news is hot and these guys will hide till the news stop covering it
IMHO
Absolutely 100% agree. Good thinking!!

JMO but RE: Ritalin/Adderall:

as someone who was on dexamphetmine for 19 years, i can tell you uppers send ADHD kids to sleep, it sounds bizarre but its like the opposite to normal people

ok to sleep is the wrong word but its slow you down rather than amps you up, and it doesn't make you wanna kill people

even coffee makes me sleepy

As someone who did that exact thing in high school (snorted ritalin) as well as a whole bunch of other things, I feel pretty confident that without additional info theres really nothing to the drug angle.
Personally I think it was just something he did to try to seem cool/hard to impress/scare his 'peers'. fits with alot of other behaviors. neither one seems to have any sort of drug problem, even if they do/did use drugs occasionally as most or at least many teens will

No experience with either drug, but abusing Ritalin is nothing new, I remember hearing about T (talwin) and R (Ritalin) abuse way back in the 80s. There's got to be a good amount of research into what a Ritalin high would be like. I'm sure the authorities would be taking possible drug abuse into consideration here (and determining if it's a factor).

I thought the same thing. They could have grabbed ammo, knives, burner phones...who knows what. Especially if they knew they wouldn't be returning to their jobs, there was likely no concern for getting caught or fired.
I don’t think you can buy ammo from Walmart in Canada?

  • #1,378
I'm on Ritalin. It helps me focus, not run around like a meth junkie.

  • #1,379
You can buy ammo but not guns. Due to laws and restrictions in canada its unlikely they bought or stole ammo from wal-mart, unless one of them had a PAL, at least thats my undertstanding from candian wal-mart workers and PAL holders

I could definitely see him doing it just as something to seem cool. Also the fact that it's probably the closest thing to a "hard drug" that his sheltered self could lay his hands on.
