I am kind of amazed.
This is probably the only place I have ever been online where people don't just snap on each other for every little thing.
Looks like I'll definitely be sticking around after all this is said and done.

Welcome, as you can tell we try to give valuable information, with respect, humor, and background information. Lots of very very smart people here and the discussions are full of different perspectives, but not rancour. Rumor and rancour aren't tolerated by the mods and we get warned when we play outside the rules.

And we learn a great deal about other places, other countries, other cultures.

Amazing that they've made it this long. Especially, Kam in that short sleeved shirt.
Perhaps they have a camp set up where they are keeping the rest of their stuff? It would be risky to leave anything behind though. Who knows if they’d even be able to go back to collect their belongings if they are in fact on the run again.

**rubs hands together* a sighting!....incredible that they have managed to remain hidden all this time, what does pique my interest is that they were sighted precisely where it could be expected, should they be alive... searching for food, and because hunger becomes the body's imperative, all thoughts of safety, and security are subdued in the relentless need for food, of whatever quality.

If it can be eaten it will be eaten.. I don't think they have any ammo or maybe not even weaponry left, otherwise they would shoot food, a rabbit, a sparrow, anything.

Hunger makes the thought process a muddled business, and one of the hard side effects of hunger is terrible depression. Hard to get going, hard to stay the course, hard to keep an eye on the goal. It will also make them really turn on each other, like wild dogs , should a situation of food divvying up arise.

And on foot!... I went back to see what footwear they were wearing in the store vid clip, couldn't see much, but not many shoes are made for 100 mile treks , unless specialized. So the shoes may be on their last legs, too.

And they ran in to the forest!.. looks like they are not about to give themselves up anytime soon. The game continues.

BBM...

It looked as though BS was wearing some sort of boot. Given that it has been stated he had made purchases from an Army Surplus store, they could have been some sort of combat boot to go with his dapper outfit. KM on the other hand, has more of a lax approach to the uniform - am guessing he would be in chucks, vans or similar.

I haven’t seen the police report that charges them with LF and CD. Can you link it?
The info is on the RCMP site and has been posted on WS many times. There are NO charges for LF and CD as the 2 young men are presently listed as suspects in that case.

Bonjour mon ami. I think we are in for a long night and for you day. If they were delusional before, they certainly be more so now and paranoid to boot!
Wet shoes, socks, blisters, no food (berries at best) wild animals, close call, choppers and dogs.. now this wind will mess them up even more! Strong winds in the bush keeps you from hearing predators and every sound will freak you out considering they're on the run

Who is the "they" that flees? The local citizens?

The Bear Clan Patrol volunteers who were patrolling when locals told them they had noticed strangers at the dump site.

The Bear Clan Patrol was the "they" had had the truck, but the fugitives were the "they" that fled.

More Australian readers ! :D
Also the middle of the day,
We do not know why RCMP believe that BS and KM are responsible for the deaths of LF and CD, but I am sure they did not just randomly decide to announce that for no reason. It isn't just a hunch, but they surely have some type of evidence that connects them to the murders, and BS and KM, by their own actions over the past two weeks, have done nothing to make it seem that RCMP has made a false assumption, imo.

Robbery was mentioned as they had no ID. A passport was eventually found hidden in the van.. If things were taken and found to be in the possession of or used by others then a connection can be made.

Eerie final sighting of murdered Aussie

When anyone is killed by police officers, there is a full inquiry into the whole circumstances around their death, conducted by an independent police board. That usually includes details about crimes committed. Journalists usually get the details after it's released, which can be a long time after the incident.

However, before then, I think there'd need to be an announcement whether the homicides in BC were closed cases, or if there might be other suspects. My sense a brief summary of the known facts might be released, to justify the cases being closed.

I hope somebody else will recall the source of my recollect because i think it was linked here - but I read or watched something just recently, can’t find it again just now though, that stated the RCMP were in the process of concluding the file regarding the murders of LF and CD, prior to turning over to a Judge to sign off on the charges. It was anticipated this would occur quite soon. It left no doubt, the RCMP consider K and B are the sole suspects of all 3 murders.

Ignoring that he exists is weird and if there is a court case, I am sure the failure to consider him as a suspect or to work to exclude him as a suspect would be questioned.
You can assume that if an angry bearded man did confront them, RCMP will provide a summary before trial.

When they skedaddled from the dump, presumably it was to some kind of camp where they have a small tent, because without a tent they’d be dead by now. Too bad about all the rain. Otherwise, the dogs could probably track them easily.
I dunno. They probably have to keep moving at this point. Their camp would have to be an incredible distance away for them to feel safe, and I doubt that’s the case.

I think they are looking at a long night stumbling through the woods.
