ETA: Not wanting to detract from this thread, but here's the short & dirty on WHY we started discussing potential for RW involvement in LC's disappearance:

1) RW's childhood spent in Deep River with bio dad and stepfather involved in the nuclear industry in Deep River, specifically AECL where Lachlan Cranswick worked as a nuclear scientist;
2) in the one and only year that RW attended Royal Military College, young Joe Grozelle disappeared from RMC and was found dead. Joe's dad is Ron Grozelle. The only "other" Ron G in the Ontario phone listings appears in Deep River and sits on the same executive board as Lachlan for the Deep River Curling & Squash Club;
3) connections we are making by studying the nuclear industry and possible connections to the military

Ok--so it's not just the childhood home connection. I will go to LC forum so as not to confuse...Petawawa is a Military Base 15 miles down the highway from DR. I wonder where RW was when LC disappeared. There must be many more unsolved cases that RW has been involved in--hope time will tell.

I read and followed the PB case, reading this again gave me an eeerie feeling with the exact same charges as RW followed by "alleged to have committed many more"

This article (from above) is stating that Comeau suffocated from tape blocking her airways. Williams is clearly an intelligent man. I can't see him making this type of mistake. He must have wanted to kill her or he had to leave suddenly without have the chance to move the tape away from her nose or mouth.

After reading this article I wonder if RW started his crime life after he graduated and lived alone. After all he just broke up with his girlfriend and he had little to no contact with his mom, I just wonder if this caused him to go over the edge and begin his panty raids and sexual assaults against women.

Then articles mysteriously separated that by a year when it was said RW graduated in 1987 and enrolled in the army. Now we have him living alone for a year somewhere between 1986 and 1987 while he was both attending U of T AND enrolling in the army, AND changing his name back to Williams?

Is the Colonel refusing both food and water? If it is just food, he could last for weeks. However, he will not last long without water and the fact that he is still alive today makes me think he is at least still drinking. This is something a person with his training would know for sure.

Hope an intervention can somehow take place to keep this dude alive. I may have said this before, but i think he wants to die with his title intact, never having faced justice that will ultimately declare him guilty, and taking a ton of dirty little secrets with him.

If on the offchance he is innocent, the justice system exists for him as well.

Wow. This is a very strange situation for everyone involved. Very difficult I would imagine; particularly if the couples and their children socialized before the separation/divorce. How did they handle it after? Nevermind the adults...What about the kids? Did Lynn and Jerry have children as well???
