Oh no I don't think so Snoopster! I was wondering myself if maybe he did and asked if anyone did. :)

He doesn't seem the type to take his own life imo. He blames everyone else and wants someone to help him.

This guy is a "prince" who saw Melinda as his property. I see this type all too often and he has zero remorse and blames her murder on her and others. Get this guy ASAP.

Sorry, to both you and Kamille if you thought I was commenting on what someone else posted! I meant that I thought I posted something and then when I went back my post wasn't there. I wasn't commenting on anything anyone else posted here! You are all great!!

From the little bit I've read, he sounds like a sociopath and someone who plays the "feel sorry for me" card extremely well. That's probably how he convinced her to let him come over that night. I'm guessing it didn't go the way he wanted it to go and he couldn't handle it so he killed her. MOO

Looks like he's deleted his IG. I guess he hasn't killed himself yet.

Interesting read. No wonder his brother told the media he just wanted him to "be safe". Maybe he's planning to meet up with him somewhere before his own sentencing? I hope LE is watching the family closely.

http://www.easy101.com/news/latest/48442-hamilton-man-awaits-sentencing.html

A 23 year old Hamilton man may be facing 12 to 18 months of jail time for snatching a purse filled with $13,000 worth of casino winnings from an elderly woman outside a grocery store.

So is this the same guy? If so, he's pretty much showing his true character. Me, me, me.

Where are you Ager? Why don't you be a man and take responsibility for what you've done?

This would be his brother Jag, who was in the media claiming that his brother should not be charged for this as it was in self defence. When asked what he would say to his brother if he was watching, and whether he thought he should turn himself in, he gave a bit of a sly smile and said he would tell him to "be safe". :notgood:

New article. Nothing noteworthy that I noticed. I did just skim the article. Basically they are still looking for Ager and is
believed to be in US still.

Actually that article is a little more noteworthy than some of the others...

Police 'actively searching' for suspect in fatal stabbing in Kitchener

"We are still actively searching for Ager Mohsin Hasan in connection with the homicide of Melinda Vasilije. We believe he is still in the United States of America and are liaising with United States authorities to determine his whereabouts," police media relations co-ordinator Cherri Grenno told CBC News in an email Tuesday.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Waterloo Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.

So at least MSM is inquiring as to what they are doing to apprehend this suspect. Now all they have to do is make more of a noise about finding that car, especially in the US.

Although there must be must be some difficulty with that considering they know he is likely to be switching out licence plates. Because they can't pull over every black 2016 Honda CRV but I hope that all police forces are running licence plate checks on the ones that they see.

Hasan might very well be reading here....although perhaps more likely reading on reddit.
If you are reading here Ager, be a man. You can't stay on the run. You love your family. Return to Canada, plead your case (you made some excellent points on reddit in your explanation. You have a rationale that you can put forward. This will allow you to put this terrible event behind you, even if you have to pay a modest price. Put your longer term life in perspective. I know it's not easy to do at your age, but take it from this old person, each stage in your life is just a stage.

So, just drive up to the border and turn yourself in to Canadian officials. If you are already in Canada, have your family support you and go with you to the local police station. Your family will stand by you and that's what is important.

Can't disagree with this reasoning. Second degree murder in Canada, with a chance at an even lesser charge, for a 24yr old man, is not that big a deal. He'll probably be out in 10 when he's still a young man.

Not that I agree with our lax judicial system and penalties at all, but those are probably the odds for him if he turns himself in and shows remorse for what happened.

So yeah, if he's reading, he's a fool to stay on the run in a country that is clamping down hard on it's illegal immigrants.

Soo LE will be using social media to find Ager.

Snipped

Inspector Mike Haffner says police will be using the power of your Twitter and Facebook feed

“We’ll be doing a social media hit out to the U.S. later on this week as well,” says Haffner. “We know he’s in the United States, it’s just a matter of if anybody has had any contact with him whether it be through social media, or family, we’re just encouraging him to turn himself in.”

Although they did say "we know he is in the US" this is good. Hopefully getting close to him. Pretty sure he has to have someone helping him.

A video article stating the same info.
Please American friends share. I know I'm posting a lot on this thread and apologize it's just a hard one.
I spoke with one of Melinda's besties and she is so sad along with her mom (besties mom, we are acquaintances) as well was told Melinda's mom is clearly a mess. :(
The pain of losing Melinda can be felt by strangers.
I really hope Ager comes back and turns himself in.
